Advantages: Improves dry scalp conditions providing much needed relief

Disadvantages: The smell could be better

I have used this product for a number of years and have occasionally tried various other products in between but find that I always revert back to what I consider the most 'trusted and faithful' product I have ever come across. I suffer on a regular basis from a dehyrated and itchy scalp which can result in large flakes develpoing at the base of my hair follicles. This condition causes me so much irritation that I start to pick at the flakes. I do start with good intentions and belief that I intend to remove only that one but before I know it I have attempted to remove all of these which results in my scalp 'throbbing' and being extremely sensitive. Obviously in this situation I have to be careful of the products that I use as sometimes these would hurt and can 'nip'. This product was recommended to me by my hairdresser who could see the condition that my scalp was in at times. This shampoo admittedly does not smell great but I have to say that the relief I experienced when I started using this product was immense. I could see an immediate improvement in the dryness of my scalp and although I did still experience the 'flakiness' these seemed to break away from my scalp much easier and sometimes on their own accord. I have tried other products and often find that these dont work as effectively as neutrogena and in some occasions my scalp appears to get worse. I now use this shampoo all the time and would never be without it.

Summary: Couldn't live without this product!!
