Any review of Neurogena Therapeutic T/Gel Shampoo is not going to be glamorous so I'm not going to try and make it so. This is far from a glamorous product. The packaging is bland and unappealing. It has a horrid sterile medical look to it, the box offering facts about it's contents and little else to give it appeal. Once inside, the bottle itself mimics the outer packaging but is clear so you can also see the thick brown liquid you are hoping to apply to your head.

The liquid itself once squeezed out of its bottle has a distinctly unappealing odour. Believe me, it used to be worse but I think they have tried to mask it now with a scent. This doesn't make the experience any better, only worse.

So why the 5 star review? Because if you have skin problems that effect your scalp such as psoriasis there is in my opinion, no better product readily available... And T/gel is readily available from most chemists and supermarkets.

For many years I suffered with dry skin clumps forming on my scalp but no longer. Wash your hair every 3 or so days with T/Gel and after a few weeks it cleared up. I have continued this process for years now and never had a problem.

Yes, it looks and smells bad but I wouldn't give it up for anything.

Summary: Ignore the aesthetics and focus on the results
