I love the poker straight look and the shine given from straightening irons, that is why I got these. I have mid length hair and it is naturally wavy, so when I have just washed it, it is very wavy. For extremely shiny, soft , straight and sleeky looking hair these straightening tongs are fantastic. My hair is about shoulder length and quite dry, now when it's freshly washed because my hair is really thick it sometimes has a dendency to go slightly curly, especially on the ends, even frizzy at times if i go out in damp weather and the hour iv'e spent styling my hair was a waste of time because it just looks like a hurricanes been let loose on it.
