I love the poker straight look and the shine given from straightening irons, that is why I got these.

I have mid length hair and it is naturally wavy, so when I have just washed it, it is very wavy. It is a well known fact that you shouldn't use hairdryers alone on hair you should put a product on it first, so that is what's good about these straighteners. When purchasing them I also got Nicky Clarke heat protecting spray, and it means that your hair won't burn and it will prevent it from split ends.

I usually section of my hair then blowdry the sections straight once I have done this just to give more shine, softness and straightness I go over the hair with these straghtners, it makes a diffrence and goes straight very quickly, also it reduces thickness.

These straightners are different from previous ones I have bought usually you press them done on your hair but these are like scisoors you hold the handles and push them together which is easier to hold. They can get very hot.

To make sure no hairs stick up always start right from the root and then press down for about 5 seconds moving down all of the time and as you get nearer the ends you might hold longer like at the top because these are the trickiest bits depnding on your hair type.

I have always been looking for a product which will keep my hair straight even when the air is damp and this worked, I could actually wear my hair down and it could fly behind me as I walked down streets, I made a few heads turn I am sure. There are some products to stop staticness if you get that after straightening, Nicky Carke does many.

The shine stayed in my hair all day as did the softness and as for the straightness definitely, I recommend this to anyone who has been looking for something which will keep their hair straight through most weather types.
