Nicky Clarke Red Carpet Intense Defense Straightener Spritz

I bought this hair heat defence spray thinking that it would be good because it comes from a reputable brand. Sadly I was mistaken! To be honest I am not even going to bother using it all up! The spray smells lovely, but once on the hair it is sticky and makes my hair feel coarse and dry. I thought maybe I was using too much so I used less however it still had the same effect. I actually had to wash the product out of my hair as soon as possible because it just didn't feel nice at all. I got this bought for me from my boyfriends mum and from the first use I was impressed. As I have straight hair, I tend to go over it once in the morning and it doesn't need doing, the only problem is that my hair gets dried out easily. When she bought me this, I thought I will give it a go. In the past I have found that other heat defense sprays have made my hair dry and lacking in volume and although it does not state it makes your hair more volumised, it does. As some one that loves an easy life when I saw this in Boots on offer I had to have a couple of bottles of it! I have stated before in my reviews that I do like a protection mist on my hair and I usually use it alone as I suffer with frizz, broken hairs and split ends and most days I use a hairdryer and straighteners on a very hot heat so this Nicky Clarke 'Intense Defence Straightening Spritz' sounded just like what I needed!
