Advantages: great sleek looking hair

Disadvantages: the lids break and the spray function sometimes doesnt work

I got this bought for me from my boyfriends mum and from the first use I was impressed. As I have straight hair, I tend to go over it once in the morning and it doesn't need doing, the only problem is that my hair gets dried out easily.

When she bought me this, I thought I will give it a go. In the past I have found that other heat defense sprays have made my hair dry and lacking in volume and although it does not state it makes your hair more volumised, it does.

I tend to find this is better after I have washed my hair, all you need to do is spray a few sprays over your head (not too many or it will make your hair greasy) and it makes your hair look more sleek and shiney and gives it more volume.

I have to say that on using this product I have had a big problem with the spray top, sometimes it just doesn't work but if you look after it more then you shouldn't have a problem

I find this spray has stopped my hair from becoming brittle and dry, it stops me having to worry I have a head full of straw and as I am currently working with hair, this something I would not like to have.

I have found this spray in my local boots for around £5.99, maybe a little steep for some people but I have to say I have had it months, used it almost everyday and I still have over a quarter of the bottle left.

The packaging is a simple red with a spray nozzle at the top and vertically written 'Nicky Clarke red carpet style' and the ingredients, styling tips and how to use on the back, just to avoid confusion. It is 150ml.

Over all I think this is a great product to use and well worth the money, if like me, you have very dry hair then this is the product to you. I would recommend this to anybody with hair that can get dry and brittle and people who straighten their hair regularly.
