Nicky Clarke Close Up Perfect Creme De Luxe: ... ve been using this for 12 years, need I say more? I have staight brown shoulder length hair with long layers. I just wash and conditions my hair and let it airdry, then squeese a SMALL amount onto my palms and just smooth down the individuals layers to define them. This product really helps separate the layers and straighten them a bit without needing a hairdryer. Don t use it near the roots, it ll just look greasy...

I ve always been more into skincare and body care, and my hair has been a little bit neglected, something which I m making up for now! After splashing out way too much back in June/July, I am now curbing my spending a bit, but still like to treat myself now and again. When I saw a selection of Nicky Clarke products in Poundland I decided to treat myself - after all, despite not needing any new hair stuff, it was a bargain! 	Nicky Clarke NCS70 Kinder For Hair Straightener ... straighten my hair every day and before I got bought my precious GHD s for Christmas last year I had a pair of Nicky Clarke s NCS70 straighteners which are basically a narrower flat hair iron than my paddle ones... These straighteners are made with ceramic plates mixed with professional tourmaline technology and are black and red with a 2 metre cord length. They are about 6 inch long and one inch wide and have five setting between 1 and five and the heat goes up to 230 degrees which is very high and can be quite damaging. 	Nicky Clarke NCS70 Kinder For Hair Straightener ... 5 (the hottest) seems to be adequate enough for straightening my hair. It takes a very long time to straighten my hair using these, which could probably be solved if the plates were wider and perhaps longer (as they aren t exactly big). When I straighten my hair with these, my hair also doesn t stay straight for long which is very annoying and makes me question what the point is in using them in the first place! When buying Nicky Clarke straighteners, I thought they would be very high quality as it is such a well-known brand!
