Today I am reviewing the Anti-Dandruff Health&Shine Conditioning Shampoo by ,,Organic Care - Scalp Therapy".
This shampoo caught my attention in a pound-shop. I always like to look at the body care stuff there as they have interesting brands. Often I discover really nice products that I have never seen anywhere else before.
In December, I saw this conditioning shampoo and thought I'd give it a dry. Since it contains 400ml, I found the price of one pound absolutely reasonable. The packaging also appealed to me.
The beige bottle has golden labels on the front and back. On the front label there is a blue flower ornament and it says ,,scalp therapy" and ,,conditioning shampoo" above that. Next to the flower, more information that could appeal to the shopper is given. It says that the shampoo is naturally plant derived, that no animal testing has been done and that it contains no parabens. I think that defenitely is an advantage because I know quite a few people who are allergic to parabens and have very limited choices when it comes to body care products. In very small writing we also get the information that the product contains 0.5 % Pyrithione Zinc.
Below all that there is an ,,Organic Care" logo and the shampoo is labelled ,,Anti- Dandruff - Health & Shine - 400ml".
On the back of the bottle further information is given. The shampoo should repair dry, flaky and stressed out scalps. It is a 2in1 shampo, so it is supposed to save you some time and money by being a shampoo and conditioner at the same time.
The label says it contains "quality certified organic extracts, protein, vitamins and
The ingredients and the address of the manufacturer are given as well and a logo with a little bunny reminds you that it is free of animal testing.
The shampoo is manufactured by Natures Organics (www.naturesorganics.com.au).
This shampoo smells quite nice. I find it hard to place the scent, but I think it smells of real flowers and a bit of citrus fruits. It's quite a natural smell which fits the organic theme!
Is it good for my hair?
I've been using half the bottle now and I do believe it is a good shampoo, but it can certainly not replace a conditioner. It doesn't smooth down and nourish your hair like using a conditioner in addition does. But if you woke up late and want to safe some time under the shower, it will do the job. I can imagine people with short hair are fine with it, too. But for my long hair it simply does not provide enough care and I have to use a conditioner afterwards.
It does help against dandruff - I bought it for a friend with a dandruff problem and the shampoo really helped her a bit.
The look of it
The shampoo is of a shiny white colour. I quite like it because it looks interesting but not too artificial.

I bought this at a 1-Pound-Shop in Camden Town, London. So it was one pound which I think is a reasonable price.

This shampoo is defenitely alright and I will use the bottle up. I don't think I will buy it again because they scent was a little too boring, but other than that is alright.
If you have short hair, this conditioning shampoo might be able to save you some time by being shampoo and conditioner at the same time, but I don't recommend replacing two products with this one for people with long hair as it simply doesn't provide enough care.
All in all, this shampoo is nice but it can not substitute using a conditioner. But if you use this as an anti-dandruff shampoo, you will be satisfied.
