“ Brand: Organics / Type: Hair Shampoo „
I have very fine, quite long hair (it comes to about half way down my back). I tried organics when it was relatively new on the market so maybe things have changed since then. When I used this shampoo I found that it dried my hair out and left it very fluffy and unmanageable. I also found that it made my hair become greasy a lot more quickly than normal. I usually wash my hair every other day, but when using organics I had to wash it everyday due to the speed at which it went greasy which is tiresome as my hair takes a long time to dry. On the positive side organics is quite cheap compared to other shampoos and it does smell nice (but most shampoos do!). All I know is that I wouldn't use it again.
I am very fussy about my shampoos. I have fine hair and have to be careful that I don't use one that makes my hair too soft because it will just leave it limp. Many of the other shampoos I used to use did just that so I swapped to Organics Structure shampoo. Although it still seems to leave my hair just a little too soft, it has more volume than with the others so I am very pleased with it. The only problem I do seem to have been getting with it recently is one of static - and this is a right pain. While I am blow drying my hair, my hair is flying around everywhere, but it seems I have to put up with this if I am going to carry on using this shampoo. I used to use other Organics shampoos and found them even better, because there was no static build-up and my hair was not too soft afterwards, but then Organics seemed to change all of their products recipes, so I am now hard pushed to find a better one than this. All in all a good shampoo, but if they changed their products back to how they used to be I'd be even more pleased.
Organics structure shampoo is the best Organics product I've tried yet, but I haven't a clue what 'organics structure' means when it relates to a bottle of shampoo. It does give me the impression that it is based on some specially structured formula and completely organic, so it must be good!. The makers have devised a very clever name for their product. It seems exactly right for my hair type which is fine and slightly oily. I usually have to wash my hair everyday but since using this product I can leave it a couple of days between washes. My hair has a nice shine and lots of body after using this. I do find that I get better results i.e. more shine and more time between shampoos if I don't use a hair dryer. If your hair is very fine and has a tendency to be oily you may find this shampoo useful.
Organics has to be one of the worst hair care products I have been the victim/customer of. It structures my hair in these ways; to make it greasy or very dry. Either way it looks terrible and makes me regret buying the stuff. Promotion of the product would obviously make it out to be the best thing since the invention of Saint Nic, but, Organics shampoo has something other shampoos do not have - a tendancy top make what was to be a good day, a bad one. My advice to the world after my experience of it is just simply - do not bother if you have fine hair. Of course, different things suit different people so don't take mine or the advert of the products good/bad streaks sway your opinion in either direction. Think of it this way, if you have not tried oit already, try it once and then give up on it if its no good. One bottle isn't the end of the world is it? Yet, think carefully.
