Advantages: Smells good and designed well

Disadvantages: Stuck up?

I seem to remember a boom a few months back, probably when I was on Ciao under my old account, where literally everyone was reviewing their favourite 'flavour' of Original Source shampoo. Going back to the subject of when I was going on holiday to Yarmouth, my mum decided she would buy me some new shampoo to go with my Tresemme conditioner.. yes, I am slightly obsessive over my hair. Coming back from Tesco she arrived with Original Source Almond and Cocnut deep moisture shampoo (for dry/coloured hair). Remembering all those positive reviews, I was impressed, and couldn't wait to get my hair stuck in.
You can't miss Original Source with the design of the bottle, and it is an impressive design as it slants inwards and upwards, of course though this novelty does wear off over time. Having a transparent bottle you are able to see through and see how much of the pixie dust you have left, and this case it appears as a thick creamy colour. The bottle also boasts of nourishing and boosting shine, so lets not ramble on any longer - lets get to the only bit you guys really care about. The test.

There is a black flip up lid on the top of the bottle, but this isn't your usual flip up lid as it curves down the bottle. I actually find this difficult to open on occassions when I have my head draped over the basin, so perhaps it would be a good idea to open it before hand. When squeezing some of the shampoo out, I typically hold it so the lid is facing me as in the other direction the shampoo seems to get dangerously close to filling the lid rather than my hand. The shampoo is of a thinner texture than I was expecting, however from as soon as you open the bottle you get the smell of the almond and coconut.
Going on holiday with a new brand, my main concern was that I would end up being allergic to it somehow and have to spend the whole holiday indoors as my face swells up, but thankfully that didn't happen. The directions on the bottle advise you to massage the shampoo into your hair and let it sit for a couple of minutes, well I'm not sure how many people actually do this - probably people with time on their hands, but I have never read the directions before so I can't say anything on my experience doing this process. What I have done though is covered my head in the stuff, and the aroma isn't all that and a bag of potatoe chips but I do love the way it makes my hands smell afterwards.

Original Source is quite easy to wash out your hair, and as long as you can wash your hair normally you should have no problems with this. This brand is a more adult hair washing brand, and in a way it does feel like a privelage to be using. The bottle raves of how the product only uses 100% pure and natural essential oils, so I guess that's a good thing. Overall I have no problems with the brand in the couple of weeks I have been using it, and in fact I would like to use it again, because the way my hair feels smooth this morning after being covered in hair gel the night before - well you can't fight that natural feeling.

Summary: I still use this brand months on.

Im with koshkha, I tried their hair stuff and really wasnt impressed by it but the shower gels are another issue (I suspect its slightly odd to have a cabinet full of them since they were on offer not so long ago and I stocked up).
