Advantages: Does exactly what it claims to
Disadvantages: Found smell a little overpowering
I've always been a fan of Original Source products, but do feel that they can be a little overpriced, therefore I don't tend to buy them as often nowadays.
I actually only picked up the Almond and Coconut shampoo as it was on special offer at Tesco for £1 (which is around half the usual RRP, depending on where you shop).
Apart from the fact it was on special offer, I always tend to smell shampoos and conditioners before I buy them, and this smelled gorgeous (slightly more of almond than coconut), and it also helped that it was for 'Dry/Coloured' hair, which is perfect for me.
The label mentions real almond kernels and oil, and that it will help nourish and protect against heat damage. Great for those who straighten and blow dry then!
It also guarantees that they don't test on animals, and that it is suitable for vegans, so its suitable for those that may be concerned with animal rights in relation to cosmetic products.
When actually using the product, I found that it lathered up brilliantly (I didn't need the usual 1/3 of a bottle!), but it also washed out easily.
My only issue was that when using the shampoo, I actually found the smell to be a little too sweet! I know it sounds a silly complaint, but the combination of the almond and coconut when lathered up, reminded me of a korma curry slightly!
Apart from that, it left my hair clean (always helps!) and really soft.
I wouldn't buy this particular smell again, I'd probably go for something more citrus based, just on personal preference. Other than that, great product, and well worth £1 if you can get it for that!
Summary: Overall great product

Cheers!
