I'm one of those guys that pretty much neccesitates some form of hair modelling product (such as gel or holding wax) to keep my hair reasonably together throughout the day - believe me I've tried living without it, and it's not all that pretty a sight! Clearly, using such thick and, lets face it, rather greasy products on a daily basis doesn't leave the hair in particularly great shape.

Many shampoos that I have tried have often turned into something of a disaster, reacting with the wax rather than being able to remove it from my mop-on-the-top, and eventually I settled on Daily Clarifying Shampoo. As claimed by the manufacturer, it really does do a great job at effortlessly removing the residues from the hair, and also at the same time giving it a decent clean that I've struggled to achieve with other brands.

The shampoo is sold in rather stylish translucent blue bottles with dark blue tops, and can be bought in 200 ml and 400 ml bottles. I recommend the latter for lastability, whilst the former is an ideal size to take when travelling away as it's obviously much smaller and lighter.

It's very easy to use, as shampoos tend to be, and I find it only takes a relatively small splodge to give a decent clean - so even with daily usage, the 400 ml bottle can last for ages. You will probably need to use a larger splodge though if you have longer hair.

The main drawback is that this shampoo is becoming increasingly more difficult to get hold of - I used to have no problem finding this in supermarkets, and other stores such as Boots'; more recently it's only been in Boots' that I've been able to find it, and now it seems even they are beginning to not stock it, in favour of 'Ice Shine' sold in very similar bottles, which isn't the same and so it's a great shame for all guys out there with hair like mine.

In conclusion, this is a great hair cleaning product for those who frequently use gel, wax and other hair modelling products, although be prepared that it may be becoming much harder to find on the high street in modern times.

Summary: A very good shampoo if you can get hold of it
