Good standard shampoo - but forget the "ice-shine" promise. (Pantene Ice Shine Shampoo)

Advantages: Minimum amount needed for a good lather, good value for money.

Disadvantages: Disappointed with the "shine" result - or lack of it.

As a lover of all things beauty related, and being unable to resist a challenge, I took Pantene up on their 10 day beautiful hair challenge. I visited the website and chose what I thought would be the right product for my hair - Ice Shine Shampoo - and set about making my lack lustre hair double in shine.
I have to say I'm a little unimpressed with this product. It doesn't seem to be benefitting my relatively long locks in any way, and seems no different to the many oodles of products I've tried before.
In fairness I will say that the shampoo lathers extremely well. I found I only needed the real minimum to gain a good lather on my hair, and it was left feeling "squeaky clean". By using such a small amount, the product has lasted very well, so I guess it is good value for money if you just want the standard clean hair - but it didn't provide me with the "ice-like" shine it threatened, and I couldn't help but feel a little disappointed after the promises.
All in all - it's a good shampoo, but I don't feel it stood up to the "adds shine" hype.

Summary: Ok if you want a good lathering, standard shampoo, but I didn't find it lived up to it's hype.
