Advantages: works well, smells good, saves money, saves time

Disadvantages: bottle is hard to spot as it looks like all other pantene products!

First of all, this review is about Pantene Pro-V 2in1 Sheer Volume Shampoo & Conditioner, not just their original 2in1 Shampoo!

I tend to use the same shampoo and conditioner as my mum, we both have thin hair. We usually use the Pantene Pro-V specifically designed for thin hair, and found that it does help, but as we have to buy both the shampoo and conditioner it can work out quite expensive as the weeks go by.

For a change, we decided to go with Pantene Pro-V 2in1 Sheer Volume. This just means you use it as you would shampoo and condition, just all in one go. This saves time for the both of us, as neither of us usually have that much time to get ready in the mornings, having to go out to work, or in my case (usually) college. I tend to leave this in my hair for a good 3 to 4 minutes, usually whilst using any other luxuries (such as bodywash) I'm fortunate enough to have in the bathroom. I wash it out, and kaboom! My hair is all of a sudden clean and very soft. As my hair is really fine, it tends to get really greasy and horrible over night, probably because I fidget around so much when I'm sleeping - this means I need to use a decent shampoo otherwise my hair doesn't stay soft for the remainder of the day. This 2in1 shampoo & conditioner works perfectly and I'm very happy with the results. This product also leaves your hair smelling really good!

On the front of the bottle, Pantene claim that Sheer Volume 2in1 shampoo is for volume and body for flat, fine or lifeless hair. At first, when your hair is still wet, you don't really see much volume or body, but as soon as you get the hair dryer on it, you most certainly do! The bottle also says that it has a new formula, I can't comment on whether this improves the final outcome of what your hair looks like as I never used the shampoo with the old formula.

The other great thing about this product is that, although it doesn't save that much money, you do save a few pennies over time. You only have to buy one bottle at a time, rather than both a bottle of shampoo and a bottle of conditioner - although of course when you buy two bottles you get 800ml worth of shampoo and conditioner, with this you only get 400ml worth of combined shampoo and condition. Keeping that in mind, I don't use about as much as this everyday as I would just shampoo when we use to get both bottles individually, so I guess we do save more money after all!
