Advantages: cheap, smells fresh, leaves hair smooth and light

I have recently been swapping shampoos and conditioners to try some others out. Usually I use the Pantene 2 in 1 classic care or the smooth and sleek. For a while I've been using a V05 2 in 1 but a few days ago this ran out so it was back to the shop.

In our local Boyes store they had the Pantene 2 in 1 Classic Care at £1.69 a bottle. I decided to go back to Pantene for a while as this seemed very reasonable. I use 2 in 1 for convenience but have a separate conditioner in case I find I need it. With Pantene I never do.

I've been using it for a few days now and instantly I noticed my hair felt smoother and less prone to tangles. I've got thick wavy hair that gets a bit out of control with some 2 in 1 shampoos and the V05 one had left it feeling dry and coarse. The immediate effects of the Pantene removed all this coarseness and left my hair looking shiney, well as shiney as wavy hair ever gets anyway!

It smells lovely, very fresh and clean and lingers on the hair for a long while after use. The product itself lathers very well so not much is needed but it does take quite a bit of rinsing out because of this easy lathering property. I find it takes me a full 5 minutes or more to get the shampoo out of my hair completely.

Afterwards my hair styles better because it's smoother and feels lighter so there doesn't appear to be any residue left. The scent is still there the next day and so is the effect of smoother, lighter hair. I wash my hair in the evening as I'm prone to flyaway, static-filled hair so this gives it time to settle down and I have to say it isn't particularly static or unruly after using the Pantene Classic Care.

Overall it's a very good 2 in 1, some can leave alot of residue behind but Pantene doesn't. It leaves hair feeling really clean and smooth.
