PACKAGING
This comes in a big bottle which i think is very luxurious looking. The label on the front is decorated with lovely colours such as gold, which you will see beside the pantene pro - v logo and a lovely picture mainly covered with blues, varying in intensity of colour and silver at the bottom. This asks do you have short or normal hair and want resilient healthy looking hair that shines. Then it tells you that "pantene pro v classic care" combines the cleansing power of shampoo with pantene conditioning power to give you great healthy- looking hair that shines.
If you have dry, curly, coloured or flat hair. It then suggests that you might enjoy one of pantene's other collections because there is a variety off offerings for your specific hair type. On the back it also says "The Institute of Trichologists founded in 1902." There website is www.pantene.com aside from all of that, you will also see all of the ingredients at the back, contact details and a message saying that "pantene is supported by The Independent Haircare Experts."
WHAT'S IT LIKE?
When you open the bottle which has a very nice easy to open blue lid, you will notice the nice smell of the shampoo. I cant point out any specific scents that i pick up from it because nothing really springs to mind but it is a nice fresh smell . The shampoo and conditioner itself is white in colour and a creamy texture.
MY OPINION
I never tried this until recently because i was always drawn to herbal essences bottle's because their shampoo smell's so good and the bottles are the fanciest looking ones that i have seen yet. So i was always won over by them. A few years ago when i went to tech, i studied hairdressing and beauty. In the hairdressing course the woman teaching us told me that pantene was basically "the best" shampoo and conditioner available. Even despite that i still never got round to buying it until recently because it is expensive and like i said it didn't appeal to me as much as herbal essences.
That was until recently while out shopping, i was able to fight the little voice in my head saying oooh herbal essences have nice, shiny, bright bottles and i bought this instead. Remembering what my hair dressing teacher had told me, i assumed it would be "a good investment." Its still a very fancy bottle just not a brightly coloured one, which i would usually go for. The silver rim around the lid is a nice addition to the bottle and it does look like a "high quality" shampoo and conditioner. In fact they seem to have managed to make it look luxurious with very simple but beautiful details.
When i use it "it lathers up brilliantly" and this is even with a very small amount of it. So although it is expensive, it can last quite a while, which i think makes it worth the money and that is even before i get into talking about the results. This makes a" big difference" to my hair after using it. If i go a while using "other shampoos" and go back to this. When i come downstairs afterwards, my mum always says how shiny and soft my hair looks. My hair is often submitted to torture as are a lot of people's hairs through constant use of hair straightener's and hair dryers.
This restore's my hair back to its best health and i really love it. I should have listened to the hairdresser when she said it to me then because i would have had these results sooner but i have got them now and i would highly recommend this too anyone, who wants the best possible choice for their hair.
PRICE
This costs £3.69 in boots for a 500ml bottle.
Summary: Shampoo and conditioner that gives brilliant results
