Gentle Cleansers remove dulling mineral deposits without being harsh on vulnerable, coloured hair, resulting in a healthy-looking shine (taken from the website). But, that it actually does. Premium Review Pantene Pro V Colour Expressions Shampoo: Poo to Pantene - they test on animals! (286 words)

Ten years ago, shampoos designed to make your hair colour glow came out of the bottle in a horrible sludgy mess, smelling alarmingly industrial. I was so put off by my experience back in my early teens, that it was only when I was given a free sample of Pantene's new range of colour-protecting shampoos and conditioners that I was tempted to try these again. Pantene colour expressions has revolutionized shampoo for natural and colour treated hair alike. Like many colour-orientated shampoos, it comes in bottles that represent the colour the product cares for: red (containing cherry bark extract), brown (containing fennel extract) or blonde (containing ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Soft and shiny hair (375 words)

I am a natural ash blonde colour and have always been proud of that. As a consequence, I have been a big fan of the shampoos that promise to keep your colour looking great and protected against weather, pollution etc. I even used the Henna coloured shampoos - they saved my hair when a wash-in-wash-out colour went slightly wrong and turned my hair orange (I was 13 at the time). My staple shampoo for a long while has been Sunsilk for blonde hair, but when Pantene brought out Blonde Expressions, I decided to have a go. Blonde Expressions ranges in price depending on where you buy it - I bought mine in Superdrug and it was around £2.99. The bottle is a funky ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Pantene Pro V Colour Expressions Shampoo: Gives u shiny, soft, velvety hair!! (291 words)

This is the 2nd best shampoo and conditioner I have ever used! My hair is coloured brunette / red, its fine, with oily roots and dry ends. I have tried both the red and the brunette versions of both the shampoo and conditioner and both were equally great. The sent is really lovely and I found that these products left my hair really shiny, manageable, and incredibly soft. The texture of both the shampoos and conditioner look like liquid velvet, which is lovely. I'm confused by what is written on the label as to wether this product is meant to add colour to your hair or not. But I can tell you now that when I left the red conditioner on for 5-10 minutes people ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review A poor shampoo from Pantene (506 words)

Pantene is not a brand I am really a fan of to be honest, and the only reason I bought this shampoo was because it was on special offer with the conditioner. It comes in a version for blonde, brunette or red hair, and obviously having brown hair I went for the brunette version. I have used a few so called colour-enhancing shampoos and conditioners in the past and never really found that they made much difference to my hair, so in all honesty this was not a product I was looking forward to using! The bottle the shampoo comes in is quite nice, being tall and cylindrical in a brown colour with gold and coppery brown accents on the label, which I think make it ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Pantene Pro V Colour Expressions Shampoo: Legally brunette (524 words)

Sadly, at the age of 22 I began going grey... Not ideal when you have naturally dark hair and want to actually look your age. Five years on, my natural colour is rather zebra-like, with streaks of white through my dark brown/almost black barnet. Nice... So I am tied to the constant schedule of colouring my hair every eight weeks before those pesky greys poke through again. For some time I have worried about the damage the dye is doing to my hair and scalp, and the sheer amount it costs me. This is where Pantene Pro V Colour Expressions Shampoo comes in... I have been using the brunette shade of this shampoo for the past few months. It was part of a ...  Read the complete review
