Advantages: cheapish

Disadvantages: sort of works

I have highlighted blond hair, so I thought I would give this a go a few weeks back. I am always exploring new shampoos and rarely finding any which satisfy my needs. I really need a shampoo to keep the hair smooth, tame frizz and keep the colour looking vibrant.

What does this shampoo do:

The shampoo is designed to bring out radiant colour and keep your colour truer for longer, whether it be dyed or natural.

The packaging:

Usual kind of stuff here, a plastic bottle with an easy to open flip-top lid. They stand up well in the bath and I never had pproblems with spillages. I would say though that the blond bottle is more orange coloured, which could confuse some people; I mean it doesn't look a very 'fresh' colour to me and does not scream radiant highlights.

How to use:

Like a normal shampoo, dispense a small dollop and work through from root to tip. I found it a little runny, not thick enough in the palm of the hand, though it lathered nicely.
The smell was not amazing. Not clinical, but not fruity enough for my liking. The shampoo rinses out well though, no need for a re-wash.

Afterwards:

A normal towel dry and a blow dry, I am pleased to say that the hair had a little bounce and life to it, though it seemed to do little to invigorate my fading highlights. The colour did not seem fresher, I guess it kept it loooking pretty much like it already was.

I feel the John Freida and Sunlik blonding range is better, bringing out stronger highlights, especially for blondes. This suffices, without being outstanding.
