The Pro-V label refers to their vitamin enriched formula. I have always used intensive conditioners as a weekly treatment as I think the forumla tends to feel quite heavy and thick over the hair. Once a week seems to be enough to keep my hair in order. On the instructions of use on this Pantene product it doesn't specify how often to use this but merely states to apply aft...more

Premium Review Pantene Pro-V Hair Repair Treatment: Save Your Hair! (731 words)
by - written on 15/07/09 (Very useful, 85 readings)
Rating:

As someone who regularly bleaches and colours her hair I've been investing in 'intensive' conditioners for some time in an effort to restore some moisture to my chemically frazzled hair shafts. At first I tried several brands but then I discovered that Elvive products were quite effective and began to use them exclusively. That changed when I saw this Pantene product on sale for marginally less than my regular Elvive tub of the same size. The rival products are both around the £3.90 price tag and are marketed as being a stronger masque-style hair treatment than your average conditioners. The product is labelled as 'Pantene Pro-V Repair and Protect' and is ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review IT'S AN INSTANT AND INTENSIVE FIVE STAR PRODUCT FOR ME, FOLK ... (440 words)

To complete my homage to the Pantene trilogy I wanted to review a great intensive conditioning treatment Procter and Gamble brought out to compliment their hair care ranges... This 'Intensive Hair Repair System' is found in a 200ml sized black screw-lidded white and gold tub with the Pantene Pro-V logo emblazoned in black writing, along with the gold feathery swish that denotes this range of products. Promising to 'Repair and Protect' from future styling damage, as well as to hydrate and protect our tresses from the brutality of everyday washing, drying, and styling, I bought this tub alongside the accompanying shampoo and conditioning systems that ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Pantene Pro-V Hair Repair Treatment: Left my hair soft, smooth, and free of split ends! (295 words)
by - written on 12/08/08 (Very useful, 163 readings)

I first tried this product in a small sachet before I went out and spent around £4 on a large pot, and I was extremely pleased with the results! My hair tends to always look damaged, it gets dry with split ends, and starts to look dull, so I'm always on the look out, and always trying new conditioners and hair masks to try and improve the condition of my hair. I knew that Pantene was a trustworthy brand, so I thought I'd give it a go! The conditioner smells really nice, like all other pantene products, and was lovely to put in my hair. After washing my hair with shampoo I applied the Repair Treatment, rubbing it into my split ...  Read the complete review

Recently I have noticed that my hair has been suffering from all the blow drying and straightening I have been doing. While shopping at Tesco recently, I browsed the shelves for an intensive conditioner that wouldn't break my bank balance. Pantene Intensive Hair Repair System This product claims to repair and protect from future styling damage. It also claims to hydrate and protect your hair from the everyday stresses such as washing, drying and styling. Packaging This product comes in a 200ml tub which has a screw off lid. The tub is white and black with the Pantene logo which is outlined in gold. I quite like the fact that this ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Pantene Pro-V Hair Repair Treatment: Nice Tub (300 words)
by - written on 08/10/08 (Very useful, 115 readings)

I was looking for an intensive conditioner when I found this intensive on made by Pantene. It gives deep conditioning, nourishment and protection to your hair. I have used many of thier products in the past and always find them very good. This particular intesive conditioner caught my eye because of the way it was packaged. Instead of the usual tube or bottle this one comes in a plastic tub. It is a very nice looking tub. It is mainly white and has some very nice gold writing on it. The tub I picked up cotained 200 ml of the product and cost £4.99. The first thing I noticed about the conditioner when I opened the tub was the lovely smell, it was nice and ...  Read the complete review
