Pantene Pro V has a vast array of shampoo's and conditioner's designed for different duties. The repair and protect variety is specifically deisgned for those who's hair has seen better days. Perfect for women who use straighteners / curlers / the hairdryer frequently and for those with dyed hair. The shampoo cost me around £2.

PACKAGING
The bottle is solid and large (giving you a lot for you money). It's a white base with brown detailing and black lettering, with a simply black lid. The lid has a hinge and opens and closes easily. It's an attractive bottle in the same shape as many other Pantene shampoo's. It looks nice alongside other products in the bathroom.

THE SHAMPOO
- Appearance & Texture -
The shampoo is a creamy, white colour with a little shimmer. It's very silky to touch, and has a liquid/ cream/ gel like consistency - rich and thick. It feels very nourishing even on your palm. Upon application, the shampoo feels to easily lift any residue and dirt and the speed and ease in which it lathers establishes this.

- Lathering -
The shampoo lathers easily with water. I find the shampoo to be one of the best a lathering as it does so quickly with a small amount of product. The lather is white and foamy, and easily rinses out of hair of all lengths and thicknesses (I often struggle with rinsing my hair as my hair is very long and thick).

- Repairing & Protecting -
In terms of repair (I have not had my hair dyed and only use heated products occassionally) I found the shampoo to really help soften and nourish my hair. My hair felt nice and soft - not silky or glossy, but still nice to touch. My hair also had a shine and looked healthy, despite appearing quite dull before hand. My hair felt strong with no brittleness.

- Cleaning -
My hair felt very, very clean after washing out this shampoo - even with just one use (I sometimes feel I should shampoo my hair twice before conditioning). My hair looked clean too, and stayed clean for a couple of days.
