Advantages: smooth results

Disadvantages: hmm bland bottle!

I have been experiencing pretty good results with the Pantene range of late, finding that the shampoos are really helping nourish and improve my dry and coloured locks. My bathroom cabinet is rather like walking into Boots, row upon row of tried and tested shampoos and conditioners. Here is another of my finds in the Pantene range which I have been pretty impressed with.

It is best used in conjuction with the shampoo so you can reap the best results of course, but as a standalone conditioner, it does a good job at repairing those dry and damaged ends and also helping to tame frizz. I suffer from frizzy ends which is particularly bad on the fringe so I need a shampoo which can smooth the ends without weighing the hair down.

The conditioner goes on as normal, working through from root to tip. I usually leave on for about one to two minutes to allow it to soak into the hair shaft. I then rinse with warm water followed by a cooler blast to seal the cuticle and add shine. This one rinses out easily and also does not leave scummy residue around the bathtub.

I patted dry then dried with a hair dryer. As with all the Pantene shampoos, you see better results if you stick with it for about a week or two. The first wash had helped tame some of the frizz and had made styling easier. I was pleased that it did not make the hair feel lank or greasy, which some protection conditioners can do. The hair had a sleek and smooth resonance about it and felt soft to the touch.

The conditioner is priced fairly, at about four pounds for a large bottle and can lats up to a month. I was pleased with the results and it did assist in keeping the hair 'repaired' and in check, though on to a day to basis I might stick with the volume one and use this maybe when the hair needs some extra calming!

Summary: good stuff
