Advantages: ENRICHING ULTRA-QUICK TREATMENT RESULTS FROM A TOP QUALITY MOISTURISING CONDITIONER.
Disadvantages: IS EXPENSIVE FOR 150 ML, ESPECIALLY FOR EVERYDAY USE, AND SELDOM EVER ON OFFER...
If there was such a thing as a training course in 'Tress Torturing Techniques' out there, why then this cruel reviewer would pass it with flying colours!
When I wrote my write my recent trilogy on 'Pantene' hair care products, that's when I came to the blinding realisation that I use a total of no less than SIX different toiletries/styling substances on my hair on a daily basis...and sometimes even more!
Ranging from shampoo, conditioner, moose, plus protective heat styling spray, a smidge of wax, and finally hairspray; why it doesn't make for a pretty list does it, dear dooyoo'ers?!
And that doesn't include the styling gel I sometimes use to scrape my red mane back on a pony-tailed casual day...Or the Garnier 'Auburn 5.5' hair dye followed by a bleached highlighting session - including two colour care intensive conditioning treatments!
Neither have I added the spray-on, leave-in overnight liquid intensive mist, nor the intensive repair treatment I am going to tell you all about today.
So you see I have many sadist tendencies when it comes to the 'care' of my hair; in fact Gothy, my teenage daughter, says she's surprised I'm not bald!
My trio of Pantene reviews, as am sure you have gathered, is about to become a quartet as I just couldn't miss out on giving my opinion regarding an absolutely brilliant product.
Pantene's 'Pro-V Triple Amino Instant Repair Treatment' with '3xMore Aminos' emblazoned on the upside-down shortish, wide pliable plastic tube, I personally think is little short of a creamy miracle found within a shiny, opaque bottle!
Predominantly a semi-clear container with gold detail; the lettering across the front is in black, gold and white with a promise from the manufacturers 'Procter & Gamble' to 'Repair and Protect', and 'Instantly helps restore the look of your damaged tired hair'.
On the back of the bottom black flip-lidded tube, Pantene asks if you want 'Resilient, shiny hair that looks rejuvenated with life?'
Erm...Yes please, but good luck with that!
Costing around £3.99 now in Boots for the 150ml size; I replaced the dying dregs in my old instant conditioning treatment tube earlier this week - as I adore the instantaneous effect this intensive, magic substance has on the condition of my poor, beleaguered locks.
The ingredients read like a PHD list of confusing chemical components, but suffice it to say they definitely do the job for me!
The blurb on the back, says the enriched conditioning treatment helps repair the look of the hair - alongside helping to protect against future styling damage.
Containing 3 times more aminos than Pantene's regular intensive treatments, the consumer is advised to use every time they shampoo...although at almost £4 a pop I tend to use mine about twice a week, to make it last that bit longer.
Leaving the treatment in for a good 3-5 minutes, it feels so enriching for my hair's coarse mega-processed overall poor condition; plus it smells lovely and delicate - with a hint of something 'floral' according to my nasal passages.
The conditioner is quite thick, very creamy in texture, white in colour, and can be quite challenging to comb though damp hair because of the 'gloop' factor.
As with all concentrated formulas, it's well worth leaving this stuff on for as long as possible, so perhaps choose a day when you have a bit more time?
After thoroughly rinsing out, I find my hair to be more manageable; smoother, but not flat and lifeless, like a lot of the 'cheaper' brands can leave it.
Bearing in mind the brutal regular routine I put my poor tresses through, it's only fair to try and replenish it with an excellent re-nourishing combination of chemicals, specifically designed to re-moisturise damaged locks.
I swear by this bathroom hair life saver, as I do with all the Pantene Pro-V range; believing its well worth the money, to try and put right some of the damage I inflict on a very regular basis.
Why not try it and see?
Plus, if you don't like it you could send it to me..!!
(*Flutters Max Factor mega-long 'False Lash Effect' adorned kitten-like eyes!*...)
TOP TIP
********
There tends to be at least two applications left in the bottom of the tube, but it can be terribly difficult to squeeze out towards the end of the contents.
I just tend to snip the tube in half, and then scrape out the amount I need per wash.
There's nothing wrong with justified frugality - you know it makes economic sense!
Summary: ONE OF MY PERSONAL GODSENDS, I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS FABULOUS PRODUCT TO ANYBODY!
