I use all types of hair conditioner and one of the ones I have been using is Pantene Pro V Vitalising Conditioner which I always buy from Home Bargains as it is only £1.29 for a large sized bottle and also because I can no longer find it in my local supermarket. This conditioners is suitable for everyday use and it is better suited to those with drier hair rather than the greasy variety, and it is for this reason that I tend to avoid using it too near to my roots.
The conditioner itself is medium level thickness / consistency and it is off white in colour. The bottle has a lift off / flip back cap and though it does not stand on its end it is still very easy to get out all of the dregs in the bottom of the bottle so that none goes to waste.
I only ever use a small amount of this conditioner and I tend to use it from half way down my hair and leave it on for a full minute before rinsing it off with warm water.
After I have used this product on my hair I always feel that my hair is softer and more manageable and I also think it has slightly helped with my split end problems. It is really good if my hair has had a lot of products on it during the week and I use this at the end of the week as it gets rid of all the tangles and knots. I also use it on my daughter’s hair at times and it is fantastic as it means hair washing on Sunday nights no longer ends in tears when I brush her hair after it has been washed as this stuff works miracles on tangles.
Try it and see – I highly recommend it.
I first came across this conditioner quite a few years ago now, when i had a very dodgy perm. I have always had very thick hair that would instantly knot after combing it through but after i had it permed it was impossible to get a comb to go through it with just ordinary conditioner. A friend, who had naturally curly hair recommended this and so i gave it a go.
I always wash my hair twice to get rid of any residue and then follow with a good conditioner. I used quite a large amount of pantene conditioner, about the size of a ten pence piece. It covered quite well and i could instantly run my fingers through it. I left it on for the recommended two to three minutes and then washed it off. It washed out very easily leaving it feeling smooth and tangle free. It has a nice yet mild smell and even after it had dried it was still tanglefree.
Many years later i am still using this product, i no longer have the perm but i do have coloured hair with lots of grey in it, so it does have a tendency to tangle. The conditioner still manages to deknot my hair and leave it looking very healthy. I always use it in conjunction with pantene shampoo so i can achieve the best results. Occassionally i use the other conditioners in the range, to strengthen my colour or add shine, but i very quickly return to the detangle type.
As I have said in previous reviews I do like the Pantene range of hair care products and I really like their Vitalising Conditioner. It costs around £2.50 but it lasts a long time. I use this after I have washed my hair and I never need to use very much. I like to leave it on for about five minutes whilst I am soaping the rest of my body down in the shower because I think this makes it work better.
I also like to use this conditoner on my facial hair as I have a very long beard and it can look a bit dried out at times. I find that if I apply a small amount of this conditioner to my beard as well as to the hair on my head, my beard will look better for it after I have blow dried it when I get out of the shower. My other half says that she thinks this conditoner makes my beard feel silky smooth and soft and gives me a lovely smell which lasts and lasts until the following morning.
I really do think this conditioner does my hair a lot of good. It certainly makes my hair look more healthy and shiny and it also gives my hair more fullness and bounce without it going fly away as some of these things can do. I come it flat and it stays flat and I don't have to use so much of the wife''s spray to make it stay in place.
This conditioner is perfect! It makes my hair silky and glossy, and plus it detangles extremely well, which is a plus because I have very think hair which most conditioners don't seem to work on. Also, the smell is delicious and it lingers on for quite a long time. The only problem I found was that I needed quite a lot to work through all my hair and so it wasn't brilliant value for money. Definitely worth buying; it works better than any other conditioner I've ever tried.
I absolutely lurve this conditioner because it transforms my long dry locks into smooth, knot free tresses. After conditioning my hair I can run a brush right through it without any tangles. The product smells lovely and is a great price. Long hair needs attention and this makes sure that the hair shaft is nourished. You don't need too much either because it is very creamy and massages into your hair easily. Having hair past my waist can be a problem but with pantene pro v it doesnt have to be so give it a try!
When I reached the age of 40 my hair started to go grey. So I decided to colour it, my natural hair colour was brown, but I thought I would take the plunge and go Blonde. This proved to be a mistake, my hair looked like I had stuck my finger in an electrical socket. I was at my wits end, that is until I tryed pantene's conditioner. After styling my hair was totally different, it shone, and it wasn't one bit frizzy. My hair is actually in better condition now than it was before I dyed it. I can't vouch that pantene will work for everyone, because my daughter used it and it made her hair worse. But for me it did work. If you have dry or frizzy hair, It may be worth trying it.
I have used the Pantene shampoo and conditioner for a number of years now, I first tried them when a sample came through my door when it was first launched on the market and I have been impressed ever since. I have tried various others as they arrive on the market and normally try them when they are on a special offer i.e 2 for 1 but I can never get back to Pantene quick enough as when ever I change I notice such a difference in my hair. After using the shampoo and conditioner my hair feels like silk and has a definate shine to it. I also use the conditioner on my childrens hair as I find it better than the ones tailored for kids and it really does make their hair shine. It is not the most cheapest on the market nor the dearest but I don't mind paying the price for a nice clean and soft head of hair, I wouldn't change from Pantene again.
for some reason i had never thought of using pantene.. dunno why? anyway, i ended up using it at a friends house and i haven't looked back. You know how most shampoos and conditioners make your hair fell wonderful for about the first 2 tmes you use it? Well, pantene conditioner does this all of the time for me. I have loads of problems with tangly knots in my long hair but it always feels soft and tangle-free after using this conditioner. i would highly recommend this as you need very little, even on ong hair, and also it is almost always on offer in wither boots or the local supermarket.
Do you suffer with dry hair, i have naturaly curly hair and so does my daughter i have tried everything from different shampoos, conditioners and oils. i started using pantene shampoo and conditioner about a year and a half ago, due to the fack that my daughters hair is so curly i found it awful to comb she would scream and cry in the bath because i was pulling her hair so i tried pantene, i wash her hair every day so when i put the conditioner in i now comb her hair through with no problem at all, so to avoid her hair getting dry i now leave some conditioner in her hair all day long, her hair is now in lovely condition. I also found when you go on holiday the sun always drys your hair so i also did this every morning while on holiday and her hair stayed lovely. I would recoment any body who has not tried pantene shampoo and conditioner to go and buy some, this is the best ever.
I must have tried at least 75% of all the conditioners on the market from the everday ones at prices of around £1-3 regarding where you get them from up to about £7 and the one I keep coming back to is Pantene. I don't use one brand only in case it just leads to a build up and hair once it has been washed and rinsed feels heavy and sticky so I rotate and alternate- but nothing leaves my fine hair feeling so clean and shiny as Pantene. People with coarser hair than mine maybe able to get away with a heavier conditioner that leaves a residue behind but I can't. With Pantene there is no clogging of the hair shafts and my hair smells really clean I love it. My hairdresser recommends it too as being the best on the market and I have been very disappointed with some of the' big name' conditioners!
Every time I have used this product it has been a complete waste of money, it does not leave my hair looking shiny and full of life, it leaves it feeling lank and greasy, so I have to end up washing it everyday. I don't know why I keep on trying it, I think I am fooled by the intense advertising and a lot of people seem to recommend it, but it just doesn't seem to work on my hair. The best shampoo & conditioner I have come across has got to heat activated Organics, absolutely brilliant and easily leaves your hair feeling soft and shiny for two days if not longer. Sorry Pantene, Organics is the product for me!
I have used a lot of different conditioners to try and find the right one for me, and so far Pantene vitalising conditioner has come up tops! Other conditioners felt ok the first couple of times I used them, and then they did not seem to make a difference. I found the same with the shampoos as well, but I think thats the case for most people. Pantene ALWAYS leaves my hair silky and smooth. I can always run a comb through my hair strait after washing it and my hair did not go back to feeling like wire wool after 5 minutes! (I have fine hair and a lot of split ends, and does not matter how much I get it cut or how often, it just splits again!) even after blow drying my hair, it stays soft and shiny, and I have found with a lot of conditioners that when you blow dry your hair, it goes dull. I would recomend this to anyone who has fine hair and suffers with split ends, It does not get rid of split ends, but it helps to controll flyaway hair! I cant remember the exact price, but I paid around £2.50, shop to shop prices can vary quite a lot, so shop around.
