ME AND MY HAIR

As I have already stated with my review for Pantene Sleek and Smooth Shampoo:-
I never use a hair dryer or straighteners on my hair.
The only time it receives such tender treatment is once every six weeks at the hairdressers. Consequently my hair is prone to being a trifle bushy, to say the least, and
not very sleek at all.
At the moment my hair is in a bob style and as it is turning grey is turning into fuse wire.
I have it coloured dark blonde at the hairdressers and having my roots done every six weeks causes my hair further distress.

After my regular trip to the hair salon I looked around for a suitable product and bagged a bargain. Well price wise I did but what about the actual product?. Did it live up to the maker's claims?. Enter Pantene Pro V Sleek and Smooth Conditioner.

THE PRODUCT.

This conditioner is a rich, thick and silky. This white conditioner almost has the consistency of a body lotion. It has that sort of smell also which is very pleasant.


THE PACKAGING.

The plastic white bottle is very chunky with an almost black, navy flip top lid. The conditioner takes it's time appearing but you do not get too much product if you squeeze the bottle.

MAKERS CLAIMS

Procter and Gamble claim that:-
This conditioner provides beautifully smooth hair throughout the day. Recommended for dry, straight or wavy hair. This is the same claim as for the shampoo. I think it will work well on frizzy or wiry hair also.

TO USE.

After your final shampoo apply this conditioner from the root to the ends of your hair and then rinse thoroughly. I like to use as cold a water as I can stand for the final rinse. I think this helps your hair to shine. It is recommended that you use sleek and smooth comb in cream for really smooth hair.

PRICE

I paid £2.99 for a whopping 750ml bottle of Pantene Sleek and Smooth from Netto. I feel that this price represents exceptionally good value.

PANTENE

Pantene has been around for quite a few years now and has a range of hair products for most hair types and styles.

ANY GOOD?

I really like this conditioner. It leaves my hair feeling soft and silky and in really good condition. It does not leave my hair oily as some conditioners can do. It helps my hair to be tangle free and means that it is really easy to brush or comb. This helps to prevent further damage by tugging a brush or comb through my hair. My hair is left feeling very clean and slightly fragranced.

The other bonus is that you do not need to use a great amount of this conditioner when you wash your hair. With a bottle as large as the one I bought I imagine that it will last a fair few weeks.

So all in all a great value conditioner that does the job. Recommended.
