Now I have been using Pantene Pro-V for just over a year, as before that I was sure that I had heard that this particular shampoo range was not good for your hair at all and I would not touch it with a barge pole!!

Well last year my sons girlfriend decided for my birthday to buy me a large cosmetic bag and fill it with shampoo, conditioner, body cream,hair brush, mirror, flannel ect.. all being in minature versions as my eldest son was getting married and I could use these for when we went away for that weekend. I thought it was so thoughtful but then I saw the Pantene shampoo and conditioner shock horror ran through me!!!!

So after many weeks of keep looking at it I though don't be so ungrateful
and took the plunge. What A Shock !! It was so lovely and my hair had never felt better. What an idiot I had been for not trying it before. I have since tried several of the different Pantene's being ;

Being I love all of these I tend to just alternate each time I buy them so that it gives my hair a different treat.

At present I'm using the Smooth and Sleek range which does what it says on the bottle. This particular one comes in a large creamy colour plastic bottle with a dark blue flip top lid. The bottle is 500ml so it is quite
big and bulky to hold. When squeezing some of this shampoo onto your hand you will notice that it is a thick white pearly creamy colour and it has a lovely clean fresh smell. On putting it onto your wet hair it will lather up really lovely, you need only put a small amount into your hand as it goes a long long way. This seems to be the only shampoo that when I rinse it all out of my hair, it actually makes my hair squeak.

This shampoo claims from its title that it smoothes and sleeks your hair, well on my hair it really does. My hair tends to have a mind of its own and whenever I wash it and dry it, it will look straight but then it does it's own thing and decides to fluff out so I look like a mad professor. With this one it does at least stay smoother and is much quicker for me to run the straighteners over. It is also very good if you have frizzy as well.

This also leaves your hair very soft and silky as well and I find that if I finish my final rinse with really cold water it leaves a really glossy shine.
Mind you that does work with a lot of shampoo's as I found out about 2 years ago when our boiler broke down for 6 weeks and I had no choice but to use cold water. My hair was in the best condition that it had ever been in and when I went to the hairdressers for a cut she wanted to know what I had been using as she said that she hadn't felt hair that was so soft. So now I always finish with the cold and I do get people ask me what have I put on it to make it shine.( I'm not trying to sound bigheaded by the way!!).

I believe that this shampoo is around the £3.89 mark but in Tesco's until the end of the month it is in a buy one get one free offer. Also I think this particular bottle I got was from Wilkinsons for around £1.70 so it's worth shopping about for it. I always use the same condtioner as the shampoo as well which is excellent also.

So really the best thing to do is not to believe everything you hear like I did and miss out on such a good product for such a long time. Thank goodness for my minatures!!!!!

I'll give this product 5 stars as I have found that all of the range is very good whichever one you choose!

Summary: Wouldn't stop using it now!
