Advantages: Smell

Disadvantages: Gets in eyes!

I used this a long, long time ago. At that time, though, I used the conditioner with it, and I though my sleek hair was up to the conditioner, and the shampoo was shit! Well, how wrong could I be? I found this recently and gave it a go, and the more I wash with it, the sleeker my hair gets.

It smells divine as well! When I used it before I had sleek hair, very sleek hair, but as I said, I thought that was down to the conditioner and not the shampoo. So, I was very, very, very pleasantly surprised when I realised the shampoo had just the same amount of sleekness in it!

The smell is like a strong soapy odour, but with a mix of very strong perfume with it. The kind of perfume you get that is so strong you can’t use it. Well, this is a perfect place to put it, and the smell is very distinctive. I notice when people have asked their hair with it, and ask, “Is that Pantene Pro V?” and the person will answer; “you’re the 500th person who asked me that today! It is!”

The amount you need to put in is barely anything. If you have long hair, I would advise two pea shapes, and only one for short. Honestly, that would be enough, and it would leave you feeling fresh and smelling lovely.

It advises you one every shampoo bottle you should follow it with the conditioner, for the best result. I often find their right, as well, because one without the other isn’t pleasant. Well, with this one it isn’t the case. Whichever you use you will be left with a lovely essence and feeling, conditioner or shampoo.

The bottle changes quiet often, and although in the picture it’s shown white with blue on the label, now it’s turned into a silvery green label with Pantene Pro V written behind. It’s a simple bottle, but there is an awful lot supplied in it, and it looks pretty elegant.

If you do not use it with shampoo, usually, you’ll find it’s very sleek, and smells
divine by its self. But, if you do use the conditioner it is a tad, tad better. It’s slightly sleeker, and the smell is a little stronger. But still, by itself, it’s still perfect. These don’t have to be used together each time!

The very, very bad thing about it is the awful thing about most shampoo’s, but its even worse in this one! Getting it in your eyes. Oh, yes, this is awful. I am a messy washer, so I often get it in my eyes. So, the first time I used it, it slipped in. Oh dear, I thought, I better grab a towel.

So, I grabbed a towel and wiped my eyes. Usually this would sort it out, and all would be hunk-dory, but this time it went worse. After finally getting it out ten minutes later, I looked in the mirror, and I had bigger and wider eyes than Angela Lansbury. Not a pretty sight, sitting in the house, let alone going out, which I did afterwards.

So, I find that a big downer on such a good product, so that lets it down for me, as shampoo often comes in my eyes!

All in all, a good shampoo, that is good alone, or not. A perfect shampoo for men and women, that leaves your hair sleek, and I find leaves it even easier to style after I put my hair clay in!

So, give it a go, if you haven’t, as it’s worth it. Enjoy, and make sure you don’t get it in your eyes! Now that’s what you call pain!

This stuff was useless in my experience, completely fecked up my hair :)

I found this rather a funny read. :p Based on personal experience though, Pantene tends to leave this greasiness on my scalp which I hate. Think the moisturising agent in it is just too strong. So thanks, but no thanks. :p
