Advantages: GREAT SILKY FINISH TO THE HAIR AFTER USING THE ACCOMPANYING PANTENE SHAMPOO...

Disadvantages: AS WITH THE SHAMPOO, IT CAN BE INDIVIDUALLY A TAD PRICEY FOR WHAT IT IS.

Hot off the presses after the shampoo review, I just wanted to do a quick write up (if there is such a thing in totalserenity's world?), on Pantene's Pro-V Restoratives Breakage Defence conditioner, which again states on the front of the 180ml bottle: 'this advanced system leaves weak and exhausted hair more resistant to breakage'.

Now as we, the everyday consumer knows, some manufacturers will splatter their products with the most glorified of taglines, sweeping mini-statements and promises - but in this case I believe this conditioner truly lives up to the spiel.

Classed as part of Pro-V's 'next generation' (have heard of this expression regarding our eclectic youth population...or the latest pop group, but a conditioner, come on Pantene!), as with the shampoo, it promises less breakage to 'recapture the appearance of healthy hair'.

Well am a firm believer in trying the same hair products together, so always use the shampoo and conditioner concurrently to try and achieve optimum results ( I ought to start penning little advertising logos myself - it's not so hard?), which I do believe makes a difference to my poor mal-nourished over processed tresses...

The conditioner is very similar to the shampoo in both its medium blue appearance, plus pleasantly freesia-like aroma. The biggest difference being it is somewhat thicker in consistency than its fellow shampoo - as would be expected of a product of this nature.

The black-lidded flip top of the bottle is actually on the bottom this time, although i'm not sure why?

On using conditioner it feels very rich and nourishing in texture - my hair almost sings 'Hallelujah' at receiving a treatment so replenishing as this, bless it and its ultra-dry roots!

As a quick fix moisturising treatment this really is the ticket, leaving your hair feeling silky- and lovely. And, again as with the shampoo, it doesn't seem to have an reaction to dermatitis conditions - always a plus if you're a sufferer like me.

All together now: 'Ahhh'... :o)

Procter and Gamble have done a great job with this particular range, although it's a tad pricey at around £2.99, it can be frequently found on offer along with the shampoo for two for £4 in the like of Boots and other good outlets.

Top Tip
*******
Always have a comb handy to thoroughly distribute the conditioner through your hair. Experts recommend this when intensively treating your hair - but it's just as effective with everyday conditioners too!

Summary: WELL WORTH USING, IT'S A RICH, MOISTURISING CONDITIONER GREAT FOR EVERYDAY USE!

I've heard some awful things about what Pantene put in their shampoo and conditioner so I stick to my Herbal Essenses.x.
