Advantages: vast improvement in hair condition
Disadvantages: none
I love my hairdresser John. I first went to him about 8 years ago. My hair was in terrible condition through perming, highlighting, etc. My hair was greasy at the roots and very dry at the ends which was also split. He recommended that I use Moisture Mist every time I washed my hair. I was a bit dubious because this Moisture Mist stuff was mainly water!! But after every shampoo - before blow drying my hair I would spray this over my hair. (It is important to cover clothes before spraying this as it can stain delicate items) After about 3 weeks the difference was amazing. My hair shone like never before. I didnt need to use conditioner any more which in turn reduced how greasy my hair was. It is important to use a good shampoo in conjunction with Moisture Mist or the benefits can be lost. But used regularly on dry hair you will notice a difference. It has a fresh smell that doesn't overpower, and once on the hair the frangrance enhances that just washed smell. Moisture Mist is also good because it can be used to moisturise skin. I have always suffered from dry skin on my legs through years of shaving. Now whenever I shave my legs I dry them and then spray them with Moisture Mist. I allow this to dry naturally (can be a bit uncomfortable in winter Brrrrr!!), and I must say that I have noticed a difference in how soft my legs are. (until the stubble reappears that is!). Moisture Mist is also gentle enough to use on children's hair and Charlotte's hair is in better condition now that I use it on her also. It is quite expensive - I pay £4.50 for 250ml, but it does last around 3 months - thats using it on Charlotte's hair and my legs and hair. I can thoroughly recommend this if your hair is dry or generally in bad condition. You too will notice a difference. Go on - try it!!

- 07/05/01 A couple of years ago, Boots did a spray and leave on hair conditioner thing in their holiday range to look after your hair in the summertime: it was really good, but they stopped doing it. Boo hiss. This sounds good, though more expensive- thanks! |

- 03/05/01 It's also great for your face...spray on before you apply mosturiser, and it holds the moisture in, but without making skin oily. I tend to wait until a friend is visiting the US, as they can get 500ml bottles for about £4, which is handy! |
