It is a known fact that protein rich foods enhance healthy hair, like fish and nuts, so it figures that if a shampoo injects protein into its ingredients, then the hair will benefit. Wheat protein is a common ingredient in pricier shampoos and is very effective at nourishing malnutrioned hair. It sooths the shaft of the hair and helps to build the fibres back to a healthy state. ...more

Premium Review Paul Mitchell The Wash Shampoo: Get Some Protein Into The Hair! (324 words)

Rating:

There are a lot of male hairdresser shampoos on the market, Lee Stafford, Andrew Collinge and Paul Mitchell being just three of many. I have tried various Paul Mitchell products in the past and been sufficiently impressed. At the pricier end of the market, they aim to offer something for the more discerning buyer. Recently, I have been on a stricter hair regime budget, but in the days of more money, I used to dip into his range. another product that i found for 80% off and decided to give it a try, i was very much impressed. it is a simple shampoo that has a lovely smell of fresh apples. it is moisturizing enough...and leaves hair feeling very clean and light. i find that using it in conjunction of The Rinse works well as the two have the same scent and seem to go together. this shampoo would be great for any hair type has it adds a some moisture but not a ton, but moisturizes well enough that it shows improvement to dry hair. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Paul Mitchell The Wash Shampoo: The Wash a thick, rich and luxurious shampoo (179 words)
by - written on 04/10/00 (Very useful, 224 readings)
Rating:

I use The Wash after using shampoo three and it is a lovely shampoo to use. It is really rich, thick and luxurious and smells just great. I normally let it soak in for a minute, but that is personal. Because I highlite my hair frequently it needs a good moisturiser and The Wash is definitely doing that. It leaves my hair looking great and it feels soft and shiny. I find that a second shampoo is not necessary, but that is personal. The shampoo contains a complex of special moisture balancing conditioners and essential amino acids that continue to perform and protect throughout the day. It is suitable for normal to fine and chemically treated ...  Read the complete review
