A highly recommended conditioner for fine tresses

My hair has always been very fine & has caused me much frustration over the years. I have used many products which claim to volumise & add body but nothing ever worked for me, that is until I discovered the Philip Kingsley range.
Philip is a leading expert in the field of trichology which concerns the structure & function of human hair. As well as having long established clinics in both London & New York he also offers a range of products each of which are designed for different hair types.
I began using the body building shampoo & moisture balance conditioner almost two years ago & was amazed by the results, my hair was very dry & damaged from over colouring at this time but after using this duo my hair became not only volumised but also soft & shiny. As my hair is now in better condition I decided to try the body building conditioner instead of the moisture balance conditioner & was kindly sent a sample a couple of days back.
The body building conditioner is designed for fine, limp or flyway hair types. As with all Philip Kingsley products it is very concentrated & so only a small amount is needed on the ends & mid lengths of hair. I used mine after shampooing with the body building shampoo, rinsed off, applied several puffs of maximiser spray from the same range & dried using a hair dryer.
Once again I am not disappointed with the results, my hair is now even more volumised than when using the body building & moisture balance conditioner combo. It is also incredibly shiny & looks very healthy. At around £17 for 250mls this conditioner does seem pretty expensive but as only a small amount is needed one bottle lasts for ages. I bought my moisture balance conditioner (250mls) over 2 months ago, have used it every other day & still have more than half the bottle left. I will definately be investing in a full size bottle of the body building conditioner in the near future. Its amazing stuff!

I love this product and recommend it to everyone who has fine hair like me

I suggested this conditioner as it's my absolutely favourite. I have long fine hair that I like to keep in good condition, but the problem with fine hair is that you seem to often have the option of either something that will add body, or something that will add shine, very rarely both.

I tried this conditioner after reading lots of good things about Philip Kingsley. I tried the Philip Kingsley body building kit, which included a body building shampoo, a body building conditioner and a deep conditioner called Elastisizer, a kit I'd recommend trying if you're not familiar with the brand. There are various other kits for other hair types and they make a great introduction to the great products this brand has to offer. After trying the kit I was an instant convert and eventually bought full size products of all the items in the kit.

The conditioner comes in a large tube/bottle with what can only be described as an application nozzle, quite similar to the sort of nozzle you'd expect to find on a hair dye applicator. The conditioner itself is milky white and not too thick but not too runny either.

I tend to comb conditioner through my hair with a wide toothed comb and the first thing I noticed about this product was how it instantly detangled all the knots in my hair. Combing it through was very easy. When you start to rinse out the product you immediately notice a difference in the quality of your hair. It feels smoother and stronger.

When I dried my hair, it was bouncy, soft, shiny and really healthy looking. It looked great and I was thrilled with the results.

This product is aimed at those with shorter than shoulder length hair with little to no chemical processing. My hair is layered but the longest parts reach my stomach and I have a full head of highlights, but I find this product works incredibly well with my hair type.

The downside with this product is the price. It's around £15 and if you have long hair like me then it isn't going to last a long time. I believe when it comes to things like haircare, skincare and cosmetics, there are things you should fork out for and there are things you can get away with saving on. For me, shampoo and conditioner are the things I am willing to spend a little more on, especially with the Philip Kingsley range as I always feel it's money well spent.

I've tried so many products for fine hair and never had much success with them. If they gave me volume then I'd always end up with static and flyaway hair, which I really didn't like at all. To me, this is the perfect conditioner and I will always use it. I don't even need to use styling products now as my hair always looks great and does exactly what I want it to - I quite literally wash and go!
