AT £17 for a 250 ml bottle, you'd be expecting this shampoo to be pretty good. I got a set of travel sized PK shampoo and conditioners as I wanted to try out the range and figure out the best shampoo for my hair. Moisture balancing seemed like a good place to start as I have noticed my hair gets a bit dried out between washes.
Specifically suited to dry, damaged and frizzy hair, PHILIP KINGSLEY's 'Moisture Balancing Shampoo' is the result of over 55 years of scientific study. It's designed to gently cleanse where your locks need it most, and contains Wheat Protein to restore natural moisture and luster. What's more, an anti-static conditioning barrier smooths your cuticles, while a blend of antioxidants provides extra protection against future breakage.
- Perfect for use on medium-textured or wavy hair - I don't have wavy hair or what I wouldn't consider textured either but it worked well enough on my hair.
- Detangling, smoothing formula - I rely more on my conditioner for detangling than the shampoo
- Replenishes shine and hydration - I do agree with this.
I found that my tube was good for a couple of washes, enough to figure out whether I liked it or not. It was quick to lather up and smells really lovely, nice and clean and a bit of a holiday smell to it too.
My hair felt super shiny after using this and nicely hydrated. It smelt great too. I was really impressed with the moisture balance conditioner and would consider using it again in the future even at that price!!
