Having tried pretty much every straightener there is, I can conclusively state this is the best. And yes, its another one that costs £.

If you've got thick, curly or wavy hair, like me, you've probably found that some straighteners work well while blowdrying, but that your hair seems to curl up again half an hour later. This is due to excess moisture - a common mistake with this hair type is to overcondition.

To achieve straight, sleek hair that will stay that way for a reasonable length of time, you need to choose clear products rather than creamy looking ones - these will coat your hair and make it thicker and harder to manage.

This balm is clear and gives the nearest result to a salon you'll probably achieve at home. It leaves your hair clean and tangle free and, if you blowdry it properly (I recommend using a large airbrush) it'll give really straight results.

Again, don't use too much cos its expensive and you don't need to...and keep it away from your roots or they'll be greasy.
