something for the weekend? (Razors Edge)
Member Name: mikieo
Advantages: experienced stylist, excellent products Disadvantages: little expensive, male hair washer :(
I work for one of the universities and walk past Razors Edge almost every morning, however it was a female colleague at work who recommended the place and as my normal hair cut is by a barber I was a little dubious about dipping my toe (never mind my hair) into that particular water ! but I?m glad I did ! I?ve been three times now and the hair cut has just better and better I?ve never waited more than 10 min?s to be seen (but then again I go at about 4:30pm) and the service has been good the first time I went I decided to see a stylist and pay the extra for it, I?m glad I did I explained that this was the first time I?d been to a saloon and was a little worried that I?d get a chop and crop type cut and that in the past nothing has really suited me (for the record I?m a 30 something male). The young lady spent ages talking about the type of styles that would suit my face, the types of cuts and how much ?maintenance? I wanted to spend on it everyday ?? I went with her judgment and she cut my mop of hair into a trendy zero ?maintenance? just got out of bed look, that actually suited me !! I was amazed at the transformation and I left there and breezed into work like a new man. Ok the other staff may not be the chattiest in the world but I have a good rapport with my stylist and feel very comfy when I go ! top. I also bought some gunk with which even I've managed to recreate the style every morning before work ! excellent. The only bad thing is the last time I did get a rather lame hair wash by a young man, instead of my normal blissful wash.... Summary: |
