Advantages: Cleans well, very soft hair, smells lovely, feel good hair
Disadvantages: Quite expensive but worth every penny
Redken is a range of luxurious hair care products which are only available from selected hairdressing salons and specialist beauty websites. Redken has been around since the 1960s and is a respected brand.
The shampoo has a wonderful smell, of course this isn't the most important element of a shampoo but if your going to use it every day, it helps if you like the smell. Also, a little goes a long way, you don't need much to get a good lather and I find that it cleans the hair so well I only have to wash my hair a few times a week, it doesn't get greasy as quick.
The price is on the steep side, on average a 300ml bottle of shampoo will set you back £10. However, it last so well and works brilliantly, it's worth the money. You can bigger sizes too but on average, I find the 300ml lasts me about 2 months give or take. This brand is used in many salons and hairdressers only use the best so they give you great hair, every wondered why your hairdresser makes your hair look better than you ever can? They're probably using Redken.
The product achieves your luscious hair with ingredients such as avocado oil which is packed with fatty oils which is very good for your hair. Also, as it's called 'All Soft', the range has protein and glycerine which smoothes the cuticles of your hair achieving the softest hair imaginable.
I was so impressed with this range; I bought the shampoo, conditioner and other serums. The shampoo lathers so easily with the smallest amount and I have quite long hair. It rinses well too, so you don't get any residue or frizz from the product remaining in your hair. I noticed that my hair was left very smooth and was very easy to brush with no knots; my hair was just so soft.
The bottle itself is metallic gold and generally comes in a squeezy bottle, you can get it in pump dispensers but you have to pay around £2 more. A pump does however, prevent wastage and can be used again in other bottles.
The range is good for people who have unmanageable hair and for those looking for a good shampoo to maintain their already lovely hair. However, if you have oily hair, this shampoo might make it too greasy, it's more for people with dry to normal hair but Redken have so many products that I'm sure they'd have a range to suit you. Redken doesn't disappoint, I was totally amazed and I recommend it to anyone and everyone.
