Redken all soft shampoo (300ml)
I bought this last year and I have only just got round to using this for the past month, I have now used up this product so here is my review.
- Product description (from feelunique)
"Redken's exclusive Interbond Conditioning System and Silk-Luxe Complex target dry/brittle hair for intense, inside-out softeness, sleekness and brilliant shine. New and improved Redken All Soft Shampoo with IPN (Interlock Protein Network) washes away impurities while leaving hair soft, manageable and shiny."
- About the product
I bought the 300ml, although I think you can get minis. This shampoo is designed for people with dry, brittle, damaged hair like mine. This shampoo does contain sodium laureth sulphate so if you are allergic, stay clear of this. This product is suitable for coloured hair and it contains keratin and argan oil.
- Using the product and results
In the beauty world of blogging and magazines this product is raved about so much, although it appeared to be discontinued for a while, but there is so much hype around this product, I had to try it. Firstly, I like the packaging, I was able to get all of the product out easily without any being wasted or left in the bottom. The scent is really quite nice, although not what I was expecting. It smells quite expensive, fresh and clean - it smells like a shampoo used at an expensive salon, that is the best way I can describe it. I use about a 10p sized amount of shampoo (or more) as my hair is long and fairly thick. I work it into the roots, midlengths and ends of my hair well and it does lather up quite well (although not as good as cheaper shampoos I have used). The product is easy to work with and it rinsed out well without leaving any noticeable residue. I feel like this product cleans my hair well without stripping it; it smoothes and softens my hair easily. When my hair is dry it does feel smooth and very soft - so the name is apt and it doesn't weigh my hair down. This shampoo is really great, in my opinion, it smooths, softens and it makes my hair feel lighter. The scent does transfer to my hair slightly but it is not that noticeable.
- Price and availability
In online beauty stores this product is usually on offer and it is currently priced at £10.65 on feelunique, £8.85 on lookfantastic, £10.45 on amazon and you may be able to find this product on ebay. There are many products in this range, I also have the conditioner, there is also a mask and serum.
*Easy and quick to use and rinse out
*Lathers fairly well and leaves my hair smooth, soft and moisturised
*Doesn't weigh my hair down, doesn't make my hair greasy and doesn't irritate my scalp
*Full price can be fairly expensive, although my bottle lasted me longer than I thought it would
*Doesn't lather as well as I thought it should
