Are you tired of product overload or your hair looking greasy?Rough paste is a brilliant product and I have been using it for about a year now and won't use anything else. I have used alot of different products like brylcreem, vo5, waxes, matt clay, moose, spray gel and nothing works like this does.
I have spiked hair and found that it seems to 'wilt' after a few hours or there is alot of buildup or residue when using other products but as mentioned in the other review you only need a pea sized amount or in my case having a messed up look I'd use about 2 or three.
When I was fed up with my hair always looking greasy even though I wash my hair every day so I went down to a proper hair dresser to get a restyle and that's when it was recommended that I use rough paste to style the hair and then use a bit of hairspray to hold.
The rough paste is very light in the hair and I really recommend even for males or anyone who uses the likes of waxes or sprays and feels like their hair is bogged down from the weight of other products and doesn't spike properly or sit. In fact I have found that the next morning after using the rough paste I can still mould my hair which is proof of the durability of the paste.
The price is around £13 on amazon or you can buy in peter mark hair salons etc but it is worth the price as it does last about two months for me and I use 3 times the amount due to my hairstyle.
This product is designed for the styling of hairstyles and for giving medium control moveable texture to the hair. I was introduced to this product by my hairdresser following years of trying different hair molding products and waxes etc. I have tried the majority of makes of similar type products and often found they left my hair greasy looking and gave the impression of too much product build up. 'Rough Paste' comes in a silver pump dispenser which is a handy size to throw in your bag and very easy to use. It always for a pea sized amount of the product to be dispensed, to avoid over doing it. Depending on the length of your hair (longer hair would require a few pumps) however I find I only need two. You work it between the fingers and apply to the hair pulling it through your hair and working the product in. Whats great about this product is it creates that texture that I like in my hair, but its not visible in my hair, so is very natural. It also holds well. I now only ever purchase this as its in my opinion the best on the market and excels over brands such as Tigi & Fudge etc. The downside is the price of this product which varies but is usually between £13.00- £15.00. This may seem high but it lasts a long time ( several months) and so I deem it as worth the cost. Also, if you shop around online you can with a bit of searching find it on offer on sites such as 'The Gorgeous Shop' so you can get the price down. This product is great for short hair styles like mine however Im sure would work well for most styles. 5/5
Create rough, moveable texture with this Rough Paste which provides medium hold but remains pliable so you can work and rework your style /
