I am always on the lookout for that perfect shampoo and recently decided to try a bottle of Redken time reset shampoo from my local hair salon. My hair is fine and can look dull. This shampoo is designed for mature hair but is also recommended for fine dull hair.
The shampoo comes in a pink/mauve coloured bottle and doesn't resemble the bottle in the picture! The plastic bottle has a flip up lid and grooves at each side to help you grip the bottle with wet hands. When I bought this shampoo it was on offer at £9.00,the RRP is £12.15 for a 300 ml bottle.
The information on the bottle claims that this shampoo contains 5 ingredients to help mature hair to regain its youthful appearance. This shampoo contains Intra- Cyclades to help reinforce the hairs structure, peptides and ceramines to help repair damaged hair and strengthen the hairs fibres, green tea to help prevent damage caused by free radicals , camellia oil to add moisture to the hair and cationic oil ,a UV filter to help protect against the harmful rays of the sun. All this sounds very impressive but does it actually make my hair any better?
Well actually yes! The shampoo is really thick and produces a good lather from just a small amount. It smells lovely and is easy to rinse out. I tend to use a conditioner and had bought the matching Redken version . After drying I was really pleased with the shiny soft condition of my hair. The lovely fresh scent lasted well too.
Overall I would recommend this shampoo if like me you have fine dull hair and want to improve its condition. I will definitely be buying this again despite its high price tag!
