Remington cs3000 ceramic hair straighteners - I hereby salute you and put you on a pedestal Having been blessed with slightly wavy hair- if I don't use straighteners my hair is more bush baby than sleek goddess- I have used other hair straighteners before but none have been able to rival Remington's ceramic ones I owe many good hair days to Remington, having to use them every other day they make it easy for me to straighten my hair quickly and efficiently However there is a flaw with them- I have bought two consecutive pairs of these straighteners, the first pair lasted for a year but the second pair which I only purchased in July just gone have only ... Remington CS3000 Ceramic Hair Straightener I was so dying to have a straightener so when my gran finally bought me one, I was over the moon because I thought no more wavy hair but 7 months later am I still overmoon? Let's find out. You can buy this straightener (CS3000) in Argos, Comet, Tesco, Boots etc. They will cost you from £19.40-2.99. Cheapest is at Tesco for £20.48 (free delivery). Argos does it cheaper for £19.40 but you do have a delivery fee with that so it makes it more expensive than Tesco and most expensive I've found it at Freemans at £29.99. It's black with white/yellow Ceramic plates. The ceramic coating enables it ... Read the complete review

I would like to write a review in defence of this product. I bought my Remington CS3000s in may 2005, after spending too long struggling with some of those steam-style straighteners (the ones that heat up like an iron and can't get your hair straight, no matter what you do) for about a year. My best friend recommended GHDs, as I have very curly hair, but being a student I can't afford to spend that sort of money on something that I don't desperately need. I chose the CS3000s because they were cheap (24.99), ceramic, and looked as if they might actually work reasonably well. Also, I knew a lot of people with Remington products and they hadn't ... I have always wanted a lovely pair of ghd straightners but have never bothered, simply for the fact that Remington hair straightners for £25 max do the job ok in less time then ghd's but the result is just the same! Me and my sister share them and go halves so thats just £12.50 each for those gals that have a sister who can go halves. We have had to replaces them 3 times over the years but can afford to do so straight away. The last pair we bought must have been over a year ago and are still working just as perfect as the first day that we bought them, (and trust me they have been used so so much) Always bought them from argos where they are often cheapest for anyone ... All my life i have had curly hair, so, with my mothers persuasion i started growing my hair, for my brithday i had these straightners bought me and i use them every single day, having curly hair (and i mean CURLY) and being a boy is the worst thing around these days, But thanks to these i can have curl free hair in less than 10 mins! All you do is plug them in, turn on the plug socket, and in 12 seconds you could be burning your fingers off (ive done that before, i was even so stupid to sit on them...ouch!). Hold up hair in need of straightening, apply straightners, press and hold, now slowly pull up to the tip of the hair, it really is that easy! The ... Read the complete review
