Advantages: protect hair, heat up fast

Disadvantages: not very good at curling hair

I bourght these hair straighteners about a year ago now and have been thoroughly pleased with them. I initially wanted to buy GHD's however they proved too expensive for me and I'd heard many bad reviews about them. These remington hair straighteners are perfecct for me as I have relatively thin hair and I'd previously found other hair straightners ruined the condition of my hair leaving it frazzled and causing many split ends, but with these straighteners I can straighten my hair every day and it will not affect the silky condition. One negative side of these straighteners is that they are not very good to curl your hair with. Overall, I have foudn these straighteners very useful and if they need replacing in the next year I will definately just re-buy the same model as they heat up so fast and are so durable that I don't believe that they can be beaten.

Summary: very reasonable and reliable
