Since the first straigteners were put on the market, i was a keen user as one word which perfectly describes my hair is FRIZZ! As technology developed over the years, i ensure that i always owned the latest, supposedly best model, range and style. This led me to owning a pair of the well known and in some cases, highly criticised GHD'S (good hair day) which are quite expensive. My first pair broke, so i automatically replaced them but them after a few months, i somehow managed to loose my second pair of straigteners.

However, at this time in my life, i had little money but at the same time could not bare to continue having hair which mimicked a scraggy busy, so i decided on a compromise with myself and opted for a cheaper pair. I bought the remmington model s2104, for under £30, which was strange considering i had previously been spending around £100 on each pair of my previous straigteners.

I had little expectations as i bought my new purchase home as my beliefs were that the remmingtons wouln't compare to my GHD's in the slightest. However, from the first time i used them, i was extremly shocked as my hair began straightening, just as effectively as before. I was overwealmed and if i had known of their abilities, i would have bought this pair before my Ghd's.

The plates on the straigteners are smooth which allows them to glide through the hair which is also good for condition as this ensures that all the moisture is locked into the hair.

The straighteners have a digitial heat thermometer, which allows you to adjust the heat as some people's hair need different temps and different styles, conditions and cuts are also helped through this.

I have also found these straigteners extremly effective in the process of curling hair as the plates are n't too thick and wide; allowing you to create boucy curls or loose waves.

In summary, i personally was pleasantly surprised of the competition to GHD'S and to this day, wonder why so many people don't experiment with other brands like Remmington as they do not get enough credit and reputation.
