Advantages: Good hairdryer

Disadvantages: Curls? Messy waves more like.

The Reamington Spin Curl. An odd name, so what exactly is it? the 'Official' Reamington catchline says

-'The Remington D1001 Spin Curl Hair Dryer dries hair while producing tousled curls and natural waves. The inventive Spin Curl attachment spins the hair as it dries, leaving you with dry hair boasting loose, soft curls in minutes. So whether you want that just-got-out-of-bed casual look or pretty ringlets, this two-in-one is your one-stop shop.'

So does it fulfill these promises? Truthfully, I don't think so. I was bought this as a gift for my birthday as im glued to my curlers and I love quirky gadgets. I was excited to give it a go but I really don't think it lived up to expectation. If perfect ringlets is what you want, then don't bother. I followed the instructions to the letter several times and watched an instructional video (theres a few on youtube) but all I ever seemed to get was a tangled, knotty, vaguely wavy mess. I must be doing something wrong but I really don't know what. Maybe my hair is too fine. But it just won't work, and that seems to be the result for a lot of people when reading others opinions of the product.

While I don't think much of it myself, I would say give it a go. It's not that expensive, and some seem to have had massive success and created lovely looking waves. And if all else fails, you've got a new hairdryer :)

Summary: Not for me but works for others
