I am terrible at getting my hair cut - forget 6 weeks, I have been known to leave it for 6 months. I'm trying to be better though, and last month I had been doing some reading on the power of the moon. Ever heard about getting your hair cut when it's the full moon? https://morroccomethod.com/lunar-hair-chart gives a more comprehensive guide. And yes. I am well aware that I have taken the crazy train one step too far into Kooksville, but it seems that farmers have been extolling the virtues of gardening by the moon (aka bio-dynamic gardening) for years. And the idea that your body can be affected by the moon is no siller than the idea of the moon controlling the ... Read the complete review

I work between Old Street and Moorgate stations in London and have noticed Rush on the corner of Moorgate when walking past. It looks very smart from the outside so I wasn't surprised when I picked up a price list that it isn't cheap! I wanted my blonde highlights re-doing, and a full head starts from £80. A cut is from around £50 which is more than I would usually pay! However when reading the Metro paper recently I spotted a voucher for 50% off any colour during January. Being the penny-pincher that I am, I snipped this out and immediately booked an appointment! I popped in on the Thursday and was very glad to book an appointment that Saturday - I thought I might have . Read the complete review

--------------------Overview--------------- Usually I go to my local hairdressers and get my hair shaved for £6 but after letting my hair get far too out of hand (I looked like I had a mop on my head) I asked my girlfriend for advice and she suggested that I should try getting it styled. After asking her what style she thought I should get, she gave me a picture of a cut that she liked, I really liked the style in which she thought I should try, so for a change I decided go somewhere with more of a reputation than my local, I chose Rush. ------------------My Experience------------------- On my arrival I was greeted very enthusiastically by the ... I managed to get my hands on one of their 'Privilege Packs' thanks to a gift from a friend, I'm not sure how much they cost, but this meant that I am entitled to 3 appointments at Rush in Victoria over the next 4 months. The services are different under each one, and you can only use each one once. The appointments are: A - Cut and Finish (inc. hair wash and blow dry) B - Colour (inc. wash and blow dry) C - Blow dry With all these appointments you can add services - some with better value than others. I had the colour appointment today, and added a £17 treatment for £10. I enquired about how much it would be to add a cut, I was told £45 ... Read the complete review

Rush must have been successful in Croydon because they actually have 2 hairdressing salons, and even a beauty salon now! I use the Rush in the Centrale shopping centre and Katy is my hairdresser. I have been going to her for about 2 years now, and 3 of my friends now use her because I cannot recommend her highly enough. Katy is a young lady in her early 20s who has great style. Her own hair is always changing, length, style and even colour, but she always looks fabulous - which instantly sets you at ease. She is chatty and friendly, but in a genuine way, and she always remembers her regular clients, and what you have talked about on previous ... Read the complete review
