Advantages: Easy To Use, Works Well, Recyclable Packaging (Bottle), Very Cheap.

Disadvantages: No Nice Fragrance.

When I was out of work for a while I found that there were lots of basic and cheaper products that I could purchase from supermarkets in place of my usual branded items and save myself a load of money. This basics hair conditioner is one of these products and with a price tag of just 24p per 500ml this is one of the items that is going to stay on my shopping list long term.

This conditioner is provided in a very basic plastic bottle with a large white screw top lid. Everything about this packaging just screams basic but then I would not expect anything more for the price paid. There is a white and orange label on the conditioner with the usual information such as ingredients, barcode etc.

The conditioner within the bottle is a peach colour and is a fairly thick consistency. The cap is easy to remove, even with wet hands, and the conditioner will flow out fairly fast. I do end up using more of this than I would a more expensive conditioner mainly because it flows out so fast. I don't mind this though as I am still saving quite a few pounds per month by using this instead of an expensive branded conditioner.

The conditioner applies well to my hair and does coat it quite well. It is very easy to run through from root to tip and a little does go a long way (when I manage to just get a small amount out anyway!). There is no major scent to this product but I don't mind as once I rinse it off I find that my hair is fairly tangle free and does have a lovely shine to it. I usually use a cheaper shampoo now as well, although not this cheap.

Ingredients: Aqua, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetrimonium Chloride, Parfum, Paraffinum Liquidum, PEG-30 Lanolin, Citric Acid, Triethylene Glycol, Benzyl Alcohol, Propylene Glycol, BHT, Magnesium Chloride, Magnesium Nitrate, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, p-Chloro-m-Cresol, Methylisothiazolinone, Prunus Persica, Methylparaben, CI 15985, CI 16035.

I am very pleased with the results that I get from this basics conditioner and it is also fantastic for using to shave my legs instead of buying expensive shaving gels or using lots of shower gel. This clings to my legs well and gives a nice clean shave without any cuts or nicks.

I would definitely recommend this and I am rating it 4/5. I have knocked off one star because there is no delicious fragrance to this. Not that I was expecting one for the price paid.

Summary: A Fantastic Conditioner For Use After Shampoo On Hair Or As A Shaving Gel.
