Advantages: conditions well

Disadvantages: none for me

When I bought the basic Sainsburys shampoo (which I reviewed yesterday) I also bought the Sainsburys basic conditioner.

This comes in a 500ml white plastic bottle and costs just 24p.
I opened the bottle and noticed the pale orange colour and smelt it. It smelt like a fabric conditioner.

After shampooing I poured some of this conditioner into my hand, again it was quite thin towards other conditioners. It reminded me of a conditioner that I used about 25 years ago, thin and like fabric conditioner.

I had to use more conditioner than I normally would but at 24p I hardly cared. So once I had massaged enough conditioner into my hair, I left it a couple of minutes before rinsing it off. It rinsed off really easy and quickly. I towel dried my hair and then brushed through it as normal, the brush went through fine and there were no noticeable knots.

I dried my hair and my hair was quite nice - even got a comment.
I first used this conditioner on Saturday evening which means I would normally wash my hair today at the latest and before I went out. I went out today and got away without washing it, it still looked fine. I have washed it tonight but only as I am in work tomorrow and wanted to get out as quick as I could in the morning. (not because I love my job just so I can finish earlier)

Summary: a decent cheap conditioner
