Advantages: Incredibly soft, silky glossy hair

Disadvantages: none,,,if you use regular heat proof styling products

I was first introduced to the Saks hair straighteners in 1999 by my cousin. This is when i thought that hair straighteners are just for models who want to look perfect on the glossy page but didn't so in real life. I was completely anti-hair straightener girl.
Cunningly my cousin talked me into just straightening a single lock of my lushious thick and long hair (which is looked after a lot-trust me!!) and that's it, i fell in love with the product.
i decided to buy these straighteners despite the cost even though i was a student and could not afford it. I was intimidated by the sheer result it left me with. My hair never looked so glossy and remarkably soft. I could not help myself posing around and flicking my hair from one side to another like they do in the shampoo or l'oreal ads!!
Since then these straighteners have been my loyal everyday partner until last year 2005 my cousin accidentally dropped it and my straighteners stopped working :( I was so dissappointed at my cousin (who didnt even offer to cover my loss btw) i was left heart-broken. These straighteners were the ones i could not live without and took me a while to save up and buy another one.... thanks to this site that i can now write my review about this splendid product.
Meanwhile i did buy Babyliss-Pro Thermo styler as a back up cheap option,,but nah no where compares even closer by a percent to Saks. Babyliss had made my hair dry and unmanagable.
So the moral of the story is.... yes Saks are expensive but value for money. They will last you for a long time if you look after them and dont carelessly/accidentally (in my case) drop them!! Thanks to this site again that i have now bought another pair of straighteners from the www.sakstogo.co.uk for £32.50+postage!!! They arrived with a day of order placed and are stored away as my back-up straighteners,,,lol!

Summary: Value for money,,some cheap products will give you cheap results.Better buy best and look your best!

Erm... You said you are glad the site can let you review the product but then you said thanks to the site you have now bought another pair (?!) - I'm afraid Dooyoo doesn't work like that and since this is your first review you won't have made much at all never mind buy another pair by saving up the money from review writing!

Other than that you have a good basis for the review and good comparison to the other pair. How long do these ones take to heat up? What protection do you use on your hair? Are they easy to use?...

Try presenting the review better by putting it into Word to sort out spelling and grammar, including paragraphs etc. so it will make it easier to read.

Hope you enjoy the site!

Thankfully I don't have to spend any money on hair straighteners as my hair is already straight! Louise. x
