Advantages: Makes dry hair soft and supple

Disadvantages: Did not give me a 'breath taking' shine

My hair can best be described as 'straw-like' when I wash it and do not use any conditioner. It is prone to be very dry and frizzy. Therefore, I am always on the lookout for good conditioners at a reasonable price. I came across Schwarzkopf Gliss Hair Repair Liquid Silk Gloss Conditioner for just £1 in Somerfield. It was on special offer. So I decided to put it to the test!

The claim on the bottle was that the 'gloss formula with elements of liquid silk and a gloss enhancer gives suppleness and breath taking shine'. It sounded good to me - just what I wanted... It also stated that the Gliss cell repair system contains proteins that are identical to the hair itself and is able to repair the hair from within.

I applied the conditioner following the directions on the bottle ie apply after shampooing and massaging gently into the wet hair and then rinsed it thoroughly.

I was very pleased with the results. After using the conditioner my hair did feel much softer, more supple and with no frizziness. However, I am afraid that it did not leave a 'breath taking shine!!!
Nevertheless, I would recommend that anyone with dry, curly or frizzy hair give this product a trial - especially when it is on offer..
