Advantages: Great smell

Disadvantages: Small bottle, not much gloss

I bought this having received some Schwarzkopf vouchers from them as a token gesture after resolving a problem with a product. I know the Schwarzkopf hair dyes are said to be quite good and I had heard that this was a good quality range and I liked the sound of the name Gliss.

It comes in a pale pink bottle with a brown base with a flip lid on the bottom so all the product drains down which is handy. On the front is a pink pearlescent sticker with the details of the conditioner on including the promise to transform brittle and dull hair into hair as smooth as silk. The bottle is small, just 200ml and I only saw the one size which is a shame as if you are long haired and use it every day like me then you will get through a bottle pretty quickly.

From seeing the bottle I wxpected it to be similar to L'oreal's Nutri-gloss so I was surprised when the conditioner came out just a matte white rather than the pearlescent pink I had expected. It didn't spread out as easily as my Tresemme but was easier to use than my Aussie products though I did have to use a fair bit to cover all my hair so you may end up re-purchasing quite often. In terms of smell it was lovely, fresh with a hint of sweet rose and reminded me of the way my hair smells after they wash it at the salon using the professional stuff.

When I used it it left my hair smelling great and it felt very manageable. It felt really nice when I ran my fingers through it and noticeabley soft. However, I found it did not deliver on the big promise of gloss. My hair didn't look any less shiny than normal but nor did I notice any increase in glossiness. This was a shame as I felt other than that it was a good product. These can be bought in Superdrugs and Boots stores for just under £2.

Summary: Goodish
