The Schwarzkopf Gliss LIQUID SILK EXPRESS-REPAIR-CONDITIONER is available for GBP 3.75.
The conditioner comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a spray pump. On the bottle are the product name and additional product information. The plastic bottle includes 150 ml.
The conditioner is described as follows. "EASY COMBING AND SILKY SHINE. REPAIRS THE HAIR STRUCTURE. LEAVE-IN. SCAN REPAIR LIQUIFIED SILK AND GLOSS ENHANCER SYSTEM. HAIR AS SMOOTH AS SILK. The ingredients are Aqua, Cyclomethicone, Phenyl Trimethicone, Prunus Armeniaca Kernel Oil, Hydrolyzed Silk, Sericin, Panthenol, Cocodimonium Hydroxypropyl Hydrolyzed Keratin, Hydrolyzed Keratin, Dimethiconol, Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone, Lactic Acid, Polyquaternium-16, Laurdimonium Hydroxypropyl Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Cetrimonium Chloride, Parfum, Sodium Benzoate, Limonene, Phenoxyethanol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Citronellol, Coumarin, Linalool and CI 17200.
The hair should be sprayed into towel-dried or dry hair after washing and left in. The hait is easy to comb after use. The hair feels soft and looks smooth. The conditioner improves the combability. The hair looks cared for after use. The conditioner does not weight down the hair and gives the hair visible shine.
The conditioner has a gentle, flowery scent. The scent cannot be noticed after use.
I can recommend the Schwarzkopf Gliss LIQUID SILK EXPRESS-REPAIR-CONDITIONER, as the hair feels soft and the conditioner cares for the hair.
Having very thick, naturally knotty, dry hair which has been bleached and coloured frequently, I'm always looking for the next miracle treatment to fix the ratty mess on my head. Promising "breathtaking shine" and infused with liquid keratin, how could I give this a miss when half price down to £1.45 (Superdrug)?
I think the packaging looked pretty neat and sophisticated. The conditioning spray comes in a generous 200ml bottle which is transparent so you easily how much product you have left. It has a sort of translucent pink pearly label and the liquid (which is separates so you need to shake it) is also sort of pearly looking. The claims boasting keratin for hair repair and silk for immediate shine are plastered all over the bottle. The bottle features a spray pump which you push down to release a generous wet mist of product.
The application is pretty simple, the spray pump is easy to use a releases a large amount of product in a fine mist covering one side of the head in almost one spray. This product should be used on towel dried hair or even dry hair. I've used this product on dry hair and it is quite lightweight so is okay to do unlike some other leave ins which I wouldn't dream to put on hair dry.
The spray itself is very, very watery. It honestly is pretty much the same consistency of water and is very, very light on the hair. This may be ideal for fine hair but isn't that impressive for the bushy haired like myself. The product has an odd subtle smell, it is like a light floral smell, it is very clean but a little artificial.
CLAIMS AND RESULTS:
This product is said to target damaged hair and use it's liquid keratin formula to help repair it. Firstly, I wasn't expecting miracles from a high street brand and it's pretty well known that almost no hair care product can actually fix/heal split ends and extremely damaged hair. However, I was hoping my hair would be a little softer and shinier looking through the use of this product. To be honest it was a bit of a disappoint, although the ingredients looked promising I'm pretty confident that this product is generally about 90% water. I sprayed it on my hands and it didn't even feel a little bit smooth or slippery on my fingers and generally I could spray a whole bottle on my hair without it looking greasy.
It does detangle well, leave hair smelling nice and does leave hair feeling a little more manageable after about half a bottle has been used. Overall, I'd say it would be ideal for very fine hair but not for thicker hair that needs more nourishing.
I originally brought this spray/leave in conditioner for frizzy hair as my hair is very frizzy, dry and looks dull and on the bottle of gliss it states that it is good for conditioning hair by leaving in this spray and helps with frizz and it makes your hair shine. It comes in a clear cylinder bottle with a top you just pull off and it is a spray so it is easily used, the ingrediants are stated on the back of the bottle and so are the directions.
After using a whole bottle of this spray i wouldnt say it the best i have ever used as it doesnt really condition my locks and nor does it make my hair shine which i am a bit disappointed about. I even find when i spray it on to my hair then brush my long hair it doesnt de tangle like a lot of leave in conditioners do because they are meant to make your hair nice and soft. I do still find my hair is dry so i wont be puchasing this item again as it doesnt do anything for my hair.
When spraying the conditioner you cant seem to coat all your hair in the product its like not enough product comes out of the bottle even when you have sprayed it loads of times i think it must be just a very thin hair condidtioner but the product smells lovely but that is not enough of an advantage for me when the product itself doesnt work.
I bought this conditioner for about £1. It appealed to me becase it is a spray- leave in conditioner for frizzy hair and I was looking to save time. It also claims to make your hair shine. I would say that it is good if you are in a hurry and do not have time for a normal conditioner, however I would not use it regularly.
It comes out of the bottle easily enough and the smell is pleasant. The problem I found was that it did not seem to coat my hair as a traditional conditioner does. I have fine flyaway hair, so I need a product which holds it down. This did not seem to do that for me. I have used varying amounts of it and still have not got the desired result.
My hair is straight, fine, flyaway and below the shoulders, so if you have similar hair I would not advise this product. I think it is probably more suitable for someone with curly hair, rather then flyaway.
Good as the occasional time saver, but not an everyday product for me.
When you have thick frizzy spiral curly hair like mine, you're constantly looking for a product which will help your hair look shiny, full of life and something to make people look your way.
I use this product every time i wash my hair! I discovered it last year when there was an offer on in Bodycare where you got the shampoo and conditioner for £2. The shiny pearly packaging was what sold me on using it. It really has changed my hair dramatically. Before finding this range, i used to try out all types of brands that had a "curly hair" product in their range. My hair constantly looked dull, lifeless and brittle. Now, it looks wonderful and the frizz has definitely disappeared! My now loved curls are coming to life and doing as they are told. I use the shampoo and conditioner when washing, then once washed and towel dried, i use the spray which helps it keep it nice and smooth and shiny. My hair is long and can get very damaged at the ends at times, but this range has definitely given it a new life!
The shampoo and conditioner smells lovely, i wash my hair 3 times a week and the smell never wears off. I constantly get compliments that my hair smells nice, and that i have a great shine to my hair.
The shampoo is a pearly pink colour when it comes out of the bottle and the conditioner is also slightly pink and glossy. I usually leave the conditioner on for 5 minutes and finish washing the rest of my body while leaving the conditioner to really soak into my hair. When you wash it out, your hair feels like it has been transformed. You can feel the silkiness on your hands, it feels like you haven't finished washing the conditioner out as it's so soft. The spray is also pearly and a white mass settles to the top and needs a little shake before applying to your hair.
The smell is nothing like i've smelt before, so it is very hard to describe. it's not flowery or soapy. The Gliss kur range has it's own original smell to it.
You can buy this range of product in many places like boots, tesco, body care, Wilkinsons and even home bargains. I know they sell in 99p stores sometimes so it's worth shopping around for the best prices. They range from £1-£2 for the shampoo and conditioners and £1.50-£3 for the spray.
I highly recommend this range of product and have mentioned it to a lot of friends and people who compliment me on my hair also ask what i use. I cannot praise it enough, it is a brilliant product and i even contacted the brand to let them know i love their product very much.
I have also tried their shampoo and conditioner with shea butter which also worked miracles for my hair.
If you haven't tried it yet, get down to your shops and try it out! I guarantee you won't be disappointed with it.
**As a Whole**
I am a big fan of all Schwarzkopf hair products and use their shampoos, hairsprays and mousses religiously. So when I saw this product I had no doubts that I wanted to try it. Normally I would use Aussie Miracle as my hair is useless and frizzy constantly so I find that this works. But I chanced Scharzkopf as I am a huge fan.
*Express Repair Conditioner**
I used the accompanying shampoo to begin with before applying the conditioner and leaving to settle for three minutes. The results that were promised to me included soft, silky feeling hair with a glossy finish. I blew dried my hair and looked at the results.
Yes my hair was soft but to be honest it was left with a quite greasy look and feel to it. Not what you want immediately after a wash. My hair felt heavy with product and even looked it which is rare from using the shampoo. So I wasn't happy to say the least. It promised to repair my hair also and although I didn't expect these results after one wash anyway, my hair still remained the same.
For a good conditioner, I'd expect to pay at least £8. And for this, great hair would definitely be expected. I paid 6.50 for this without the shampoo so I was disappointed to say the least. I wouldn't recommend it.
I am constantly trying out new conditioning products due to my dry long and colour damaged hair! This one caught my eye in the local budget toiletry store probably because of its shimmery pink bottle and two tone liquid.
Basically its a spray on leave in conditioner in a recyclable 200ml bottle. Unlike conditioner that you wash in and then out after so many minutes this one is to be applied to clean towel dried or dry hair and LEFT IN.
Gliss Hair Repair is available in local chemists such as boots, bargain toiletry stores such as Body Care, supermarkets or online.
It costs around £3.79 for a 200ml bottle. Using every day on mine and my daughters hair this bottle will last us around a month.
Ok this bottle is full of those on the front.... "liquid hair repair technology" "express repair conditioner" "immediate combability and shine". Talk about getting my hopes up!
On the reverse of the bottle there is varying information including how the new liquid keratin specifically targets damaged areas of hair. It suggests that this product is specifically for dry brittle hair.
There is information on directions: SHAKE BEFORE USE (this mixes the two tone liquid into one) and apply to clean towel dried or dry hair, do not wash out.
There is information on ingredients, recycling and contact information together with shelf life once opened.
The bottle has a plastic lid and a pump action spray.
The smell of this hair product is divine it has a floral but fresh smell.
There is no doubt at all that this product works, it left my hair shiny and conditioned. It was also far easier to comb through with this product in it than without it. I was impressed to say the least.
HOWEVER.......... as far as repairing my hair was concerned I don't think so. It provided a temporary solution to my dry damaged hair it certainly does not transform it into undamaged perfect locks!
A great leave in conditioner but to say they "over egg" what this product can do is an understatement. YES it conditions, YES it makes my hair shiny, YES it is easier to comb.... REPAIRED IT IS NOT!
My hair has recently been looking very dull and dry, as I haven't really been taking care on myself, but now I've been trying to improve the quality of my hair, and as I don't really have a brand of conditioner that I use, I was looking around Boots trying to find one that I thought would be the best for my hair, and that's where I came across Schwarzkopf Gliss Liquid Silk Gloss Express Repair Conditioner, and it looked very appealing, so I thought I'd see if it really would be a great product and save my hair!
The product is defiantly one of the most unique I've seen, the bottle is a light pink and half transparent but also it shines and glistens in the light, which I've never seen on a product! The lid and dispenser are both gold, which I find appealing and it would defiantly make me pick it up in the shop, and looks very different from anything else on the shelves. On the bottle there is a lot of information, such as "repairs hair structure" and "hair smooth as silk". The product also claims that "elements of liquid silk and gloss enhancer", which is pretty amazing sounding!
Using the product was very different from other conditioners I've used, as I washed my hair as usual, and then sprayed my hair with the conditioner, and then dried and straightened my hair. It did feel weird not rising the conditioner out, as I am so used to using wash out conditioner! Applying the conditioner was also different, as I wasn't sure how to apply, I applied to the ends of my hair and making sure then all the layers of my hair and made sure I didn't get to much in my roots, as I was worried that it would cause my roots to become greasy and overly oily. Using the dispenser was really easy and enabled me to get a very even coverage of the conditioner, which was so beneficial to the condition of my hair. The scent of the conditioner is almost slightly fruity, which is perfect for the summer, but also as the scent isn't too strong, it appeals to a much wider range of women.
Using the product on dry hair was also really easy, just apply as normal and brush it through the hair and then style as normal. Using it on dry hair was much quicker, which gave my hair a quick fix of treatment, which made it so much easier to use on the go, and especially good as a travel product, as it works quickly and the results are the same as using it with wet hair.
The effects of the leave in conditioner was as good as I expected, my hair looked really healthy, improved my dry and brittle hair, but it looked less damaged but also felt and looked much stronger, which meant (hopefully) less damage in the future. But as well as hair looking healthy, my hair felt very soft and silky, which was completely different to before, where it was dry and flat. Now it was silky and soft, and had a new slight hint of shine, which was really amazing, as it looked natural and healthy. Perfect!
I would highly recommend this product, as it is easy and quick to use, but the results speak for themselves, my hair looked and felt much healthier, as my dry ends were nourished, my colour shone naturally and also it didn't anger my greasy roots, as I was worried some products do. My hair was also super shiny and silky, and just looked as good as hair from the adverts!
Schwarzkopf Gliss Liquid Silk Gloss Express Repair Conditioner is available at most supermarkets and pharmacists, including Boots and Superdrug and costs rough £1.50-£2, what a bargain!
I don't know about anyone else but with the warm sunshine hitting me and the fact I've had a damn good hair cut recently...I was inspired to revamp my hair care collection to celebrate!
I went for a wander in my local Superdrug looking for some nice hair care products from ranges I know and trust and this was one of my purchases. On special offer (for a limited time only) this cost me £1.49 for the bottle instead of closer to £3.00.
I always use a conditioner on my hair any time I wash it. Although it has been recently cut I still need my hair to feel soft, supple and strong and a good rinse in/out one always makes my hair feel and look just that.
However living by the coast and enjoying almost daily walks on the beach, my hair (particulary at the ends of it) can go weak and dry out fast so I was particulary looking for a nice but light leave in conditioner for a little extra and occasional nourishment if and when I wanted it.
I only spotted this available to purchase in one size and that is a frosted light pink cylinder plastic bottle with a light gold coloured push button dispenser to the top of it and the same coloured pull on/off lid and it holds 200ml of the product. On the front of the bottle we are told that it is Schwarzkopf Gliss Hair Repair 'Repairs the hairs structure' and that it is Liquid Silk Gloss Express Repair Conditioner 'Hair as smooth as silk'. On the back of the bottle other information listed includes being told a bit about the product and how to use it, the ingredients are listed as is the size (as I have stated already and contact detals for Schwarzkopf & Henkel are given. It's a nice enough bottle and of course informative and robust enough and I do like to be able to see the conditioner through the bottle so I can see when it needs replacing (if of course thats assuming that I want too lol!).
A Bit About The Product According To The Information Listed On The Back Of The Bottle
Do you have brittle, dry hair?
The Gliss formula with elements of liquid silk and a gloss enhancer gives suppleness and breathtaking shine.
Immediate extra-easy combability
Soft, supple hair without overburdening
For hair as soft as silk
Smooths the hair's surface for an intense shimmery shine
All you do with this leave in conditioner is to wash your hair as usual first and spray a few squirts through your hair and then comb and style it as usual. Personally I do condition my hair with a rinse out formula first but that is simply your choice you could if you wanted to just use this after thoroughly shampooing first if you prefer.
This goes on the hair clear and with a sweet none distinctive light fragrance of what I can only assumme is fruit extracts. Whatever the fragrance is it unisex and light and the smell of this does vanish over time anyway so the fragrance isn't a big deal with this anyway.
I find that I can spray as much or as little on my hair as I want to and I just spray it at arms length over my hair and thats it!
As it goes on the hair it feels really light, ungreasy and really soft. After my hair is dried thats where this really comes into its own!
This leaves my hair feeling soft, silky and shiny...which it really is. People even comment on the gorgeous shine my hair has to it when I have used this and not only just immedietely after I have used it but if I don't wash my hair the following day this still makes my hair radiate a healthy glow!
I have noticed since using this too that my hair feels generally stronger and appears it, I have had less breakage and I can use it before other styling products too as it is such a slight formulation.
I do suffer with very greasy chip pan like roots from time to time and this does no harm to those but simply is intelligent enough to guess where I need the extra conditioning!
This is now on my top 5 hair product list. Not only does my hair look strong, shiny and renewed colour wise (I do dye my hair regular so thats an added bonus to me!) but my scalp feels clean, frizz is less as well as split ends not so prominent and to style my hair now I need alot less of other products if using this first!
Huge thumbs up from me...I love this gorgeous stuff and whilst people keep complimenting my shiny hair I shall keep purchasing it!
Available in all good chemists etc.
