Schwarzkopf Gliss Liquid Silk Gloss Shine Treatment Spray is one of my must-have hair care items!
The bottle itself is a shimmery pink, that looks almost yellowy-green if you tilt it in the light. It looks girly, and really attractive, and the writing is easy to read.
The liquid itself is clear, and has a light, sweet fragrance. It is applied to towel dried hair, and left it, so it's very simple to apply. Liberal amounts can be applied without your hair looking greasy. It leaves it instantly feeling silkier, and once your hair is dried, you can really tell the difference.
It can also be applied to dry hair - and I personally do this. You have to be careful to use only a few sprays - particularly if you have fine hair - otherwise your hair can look greasy. If you apply it to dry hair it's also a good idea not to apply it to the roots. Immediately after applying your hair will feel smooth, and you'll notice a shine to it.
The product is cheap - around £2/3, and the bottle will last a long time. I've had mine for over two months now, and there's still a quarter left.
Although the packaging mentions it is most effective when using the matching shampoo and conditioner, I have personally found it works just as well with any type!
Overall, this is a nice smelling, effective hair treatment. My hair was left silkier, shinier, and overall felt in better condition that before I applied it. Highly recommend.
I bought this for around £2/3 at my local Boots store and is quite an attractive bottle. It comes in a 150 ml bottle which is clear and shiney revealing the pretty pale pink coloured liquid inside. The writing is quite attractive on the bottle and isn't hard to read and you're not bogged down with information.
It's simple to apply and has a good nozzle spray on it, unlike some other heavy spray bottle you can buy. It also smells really good and didn't make my hair heavy or greasy. It made my hair quite shiney and soft and generally made it quite healthy looking.
The next day though my hair did feel heavier and a bit more greasy after using this product, you should use it sparingly and not close to the roots of your hair.
This products availability was quite sound, I'd be dissapointed if they stopped making this product and is of high quality compared to other shine treatments, usually making your hair feel sticky which this one didnt. Nice product.
I bought this Schwarzkopf Gliss Liquid Silk Gloss Express Repair Conditioner - phew what a long name - for two reasons. Firstly, I had some vouchers from Schwarzkopf which I received as part of an apology for a product defect and secondly when I went to Superdrug that day I found that all the Schwarzkopf hair care items (not sure if it included dyes too) were on BOGOF offers. Moreover, I had tried their coconut and yoghurt conditioner a month or two ago and been very pleased with it so had high hopes for this.
This product comes in a pretty pink can. The bottle is a sort of frosted iridescent pink which really looks nice and keeps in with the pink theme that they use for the Gliss range. The cap is a dull matte bronze. Inside the liquid looks like a soft milky pink at the top and then it is a dark pink reflective liquid at the bottom. When this is shakes as they advise you to do before use then the whole bottle goes baby pink. (It reminds me of Dentyl PH mouthwash in that way.) There is 200ml in a bottle. The claim made is that it will turn brittle and dull hair into hair that is as smooth as silk. I love the smell of this very much. It isn't overwhelming and doesn't smell as strong as the Supersoft range I am familiar with which neither pleases nor bothers me. It reminds me of a soft sweet rose smell which I really like and my hair smells just as it would after leaving a professional salon.
When you spray it, it comes out like a mist which you just spray all over your head onto dry hair so it's very easy to use and I haven't had any greasiness from it yet which is good. One of the claims the make is that it repairs hair from the inside; I am sceptical about this as I don't think it's possible. The other main claim it makes is that it will make your hair shiny. Again I didn't notice any huge difference. I thought this was a real shame as other than that it is a lovely product to look at, smell and use but if there was any increase in shine, then it wasn't very visible.
These can be bought at Superdrug and Boots stores for £2.95. I think Superdrug is running its special offer till the 9th so now would be a good time to check out their products.
