I'm not 'sold' on this! (Schwarzkopf Heat Protection Straightening Spray)

Advantages: Lasts ages I cant get rid of it!

Disadvantages: I've listed the already, I cant list them all here lol

I bought my bottle of Schwarzkopf 200ml strong hold heat protection straightening spray 2 months ago and I've been using it almost every day on my just below shoulder length frizz proned barnet and I still have over half a bottle left!

The Packaging....

The bottle is see through plastic, nothing outrageous but 'cos of the the sprayer bit at top being pink I'm sure is aimed mainly at women and there is a picture of a woman on the front!
I love the sprayer bit in bright pink you've no idea how many times armed with this bottle I've played at being the fourth charlie's angel lol

What the product says about itself...

On the back of the bottle it says this....

My verdict....

The smell isn't good at all its ok on the hair but its a nondescript smell.
It isn't unpleasant just odd when first spraying it about but once on hair and styled no fragrance at all which I do like. I don't need my hair products to smell stronger than my chosen fragrances I just want a fresh smell.
It does slightly foam as your spraying it out sometimes and I don't think it should do that.
Top tip don't spray it out to fast, that's why i think it foams but it doesn't cause any damage by foaming or anything.
Its none sticky and just as I'm typing this out I've sprayed some in my hands and played with it and I'm still typing with no sticky feeling!
Hair doesn't feel sticky but to be fair I don't over do using the product. I spray from a great height for even coverage and use the less is more approach to anything I stick on my hair.

I mainly bought it as a heat protection spray and only found while sat on loo reading the back of this product it's meant to help straighten it.
I use both hairdryer and and straighteners and I work hard to get it straight with minimal products but never ever go to work on my mop without heat protection spray.

However I do beg the question who of us use our hair straighteners on a heat less than 200c?
I mean if we need a heat protection product its cos we probably have at some point stressed our hair out and been recommended to use something and we need the help to straighten out hair with products so we'd go as hot as we can!

Results.....

Not great.
My hair is in ok condition but only the same as ever.
I can get my hair straight but I virtually can with any product I use it just means sometimes it takes longer than others.
However I have got a fringe that my hairdresser advised me against because I have a natural cows lick so I have to work hard to get the kink out.
However i didn't listen ( I know best eh) and was conscious of my frown lines!
I notice if I only use this product half hour later I'm aware its kinking an hour later its a curl.
It's ok to use around the house but I wouldn't rely on it for going out unless I use other products on top IE hairspray.
I'd rather not and use other products to give better results so this bottle is lasting.
This doesn't give me added shine and I have no confidence in it .
Basically I'm using it to not waste it and when its gone its gone.
Its ok, nothing special about it, it has its good points but the thing I want is straight hair and this just don't help me!

Other information....

It is recyclable and don't spray it in your eyes!
